Im going through some heavy-ish Saturn transits but it's putting me down more than making me want to do the work? Any tips on how to discipline myself? I have an afflicted Venus and moon so it's not like I can relax and forget about troubles.

Are you sure its Saturn and not Jupiter?

When Saturn aspects your Sun/Moon/Mercury/Mars, there is a greater need for one to "prove" themselves at work.

Indeed, they either are under pressure or put themselves under pressure to achieve more.

But when Neptune/Jupiter is there(especially Jupiter) there is a tendency to day-dream and just be very depressed in having to do work that involves a great deal of concentration.

Tasks are left for the last minute and there is a general dissatisfaction with the mundane things that work involves.

One feels like they just want to break "free" of all that and go off and do more "exciting" things that are intellectually engaging.

Imo Saturn is depression and that is the work. What you're doing right now IS the work. Now you just have to ask yourself WHY

I know when I'm doing Saturn work though, i actually do things, depression makes me want to do nothing, which isn't work. Except for working at making myself sorry.
