Topic: Uranus square Asc transit

Any other Cancer or Cap Asc's going through this transit, or does anyone have past experiences?I know some people don't consider transits to the angles important unless they're conjuncting something, but I'd say I can feel this one.. Stability doesn't really exist in relationships or much else for that matter right now (although I suppose on some level I've chosen that-plus with tUranus in my 10th it's a little difficult to commit to long term plans) Everything seems up in the air but it has it's moments of feeling liberating. I feel I'm becoming more confident by learning to handle the instability and sudden changes without freaking out as I might've in the past lol. I also care much less what others think of me these days so I suppose I'm able to be more bold with how I present myself, including my appearance... Would love to hear other experiences! IP: Logged |

Hi Firemoon. I have Cap Asc and Cancer Venus. I feel the venus sq VERY keenly and have for the past 2 years or so.Before I started studying astrology/transits like I do now, I couldn't put my finger on why I just wanted SPACE, FREEDOM & to shake things up. I am a Cancer sun, Mercury and Venus w/Cap asc and Moon in 2H for goodness sakes...security has ALWAYS been everything to me. But all of a sudden, I wanted adventure, to meet new people, to travel etc. I broke up w/my HS sweetheart of 8 yrs. Met an Aquarius (shocker) not long after who became the father of my child. We married very quickly also. Going thru an (ugly) divorce now. (I also have Pluto opp Venus so I have to factor that in too) But overall, I would say Uranus tr has brought me an awareness of ME. What freedom, creativity and intuition mean to me. About a year after my Aqua husband and I separated, I became interested in a guy who was a Scorpio Sun/Merc/Venus but I felt his Aqua mars SOOO much. He was aloof, detached, kinda a-sexual....it was just WEIRD overall. He was not what I would describe as a normal Scorpio. I have questioned if I felt his Mars' sign more because of this hard Uranus transit?
Also, I've currently just joined a band, was invited by *shocker* the Aquarius band leader :P Fun times...but certainly, MOST DEFINITELY unstable. I'm kinda looking forward to Uranus and Pluto getting off my damn Venus lol :P But I am sure I will look back and say things were exciting! IP: Logged |

Hi moonstruck, thanks for your reply. Sorry to hear about your divorce, those can be ugly but hopefully things will get easier soon  I can imagine tUranus-Pluto transiting your venus would be intense, I'll experience that with my Cap sun and eventually Aqua venus too..But I can definitely relate to the wanting space and freedom. Also to the separations and weird relationships. A while back when tUranus was trine my moon and sextile my venus I broke up with my HS boyfriend who is an Aqua lol (we'd already broken up once before but still). Shortly after I started a short term but fun romance with a Scorp whose Venus was conjunct my Uranus. So with your Scorpio Id say it's very possible this transit had something to do with attracting his Aqua mars, crazy how it can work that way.. Anyway, yeah I agree about looking back... If nothing else I've been realizing I don't want to look back and realize I've wasted years of my life taking the "safe" route with everything. I am a double Cap. It has not been too long since I had Uranus square Ascendant, Sun, Mercury. To be honest, I have not felt Uranus square ascendant at all... But maybe it's because it's more about how people see me. Hýmm. Maybe people thought I am too much of a free spirit, or just plain mad. But I have not lost any dear friend because of that. I have Uranus conjunct MC - 0 degree nataly so I have always been a rebel. Nothing new. Uranus square Mercury; yes I was blurting out things that even suprised me. Restless mind ? I have Moon in Gemini afflicted. Again nothing new. Uranus square Sun; hýmm. I have to investigate it. I have sun sextile Uranus nataly. Because of it maybe it did not hit me that hard. Or becuase I am more focused on my soul breaking Pluto transits, I am not aware of the effects of Uranus transit... IP: Logged |

Soneone i still like has a gappi AC with a venus/neptune/uranus conjunction exactly at the AC. He s having transiting uranus in the 3rd squaring it AND transiting pluto passing it in a conjunction. I wonder how this will play Out! More in the field of relstiondhips or more Self Image? I m very much interested in his fateIP: Logged |

@sis, lol yes pretty sure a lot of ppl I used to know think I've either gone crazy or fallen off the face of the earth.. fair enough lol I basically live in my own world these days. tNeptune is also squaring my chart ruler so it's kind of a perfect storm of bizarreness but I've definitely withdrawn from others opinions and the dissolving effect of neptune probably has more influence right now actually. So what has tPluto conj sun been like for you? You're right that's slightly more intimidating.. @elise, maybe since he already has Asc-venus conjunct Uranus it will just strengthen those eccentric qualities in both relationships and self image. And Pluto tends to take things to extremes so I'm sure it'll be interesting.. IP: Logged |
