Why does Venus in Taurus get so boring once comfortable in a relationship?

Why does Mars in Gemini get so robotic and mechanical during sex once their Venus in Taurus is comfortable?

I think what you are referring to is their Venus in Taurus.

The Mars in Gemini is likely to be more experimental.

Add to that ,Mars is also likely to be expressed outside the home i.e in the career environment,in competitive sports and anywhere else where the atmosphere is more "results-oriented".Mars is basically "survival mode".

Venus governs the way that we show love, our creativity and how we conduct ourselves in relating to others. It is also how we behave when we are being creative, playful and relaxed.

So, unless the individual has a conjunction /opposition or square aspect of Mars/Venus natally or you have it in synastry with them,it is unlikely their Mars sign will interfere with their expression of love/passion.

With Venus in Taurus, comfort is key.Venus is in its own place here and can endow one with much creativity, a good sense of balance but also a strongly lazy disposition. After all, Venus is in its own place here and the qualities of Taurus seem "at home" on this planet(save for Libra and Pisces).

You want to get your Taurus to be a little more spontaneous? Appeal to their sense of "pleasure" and come up with new ideas of what you both can get up to to add more fun into the relationship.

Also, fixed signs are complacent by nature. They tend to be the "managers" of the relationship and tend to details of the structure. They are more focused in longevity and keeping things steady and grounded.

It is the Cardinal signs that take initiatives and make changes whilst the Mutable introduce variety and difference.

Where is your Venus in? Maybe you should take the initiative as you are the one who sees that there is something "wrong"?

Gemini does indeed get... not robotic, but perhaps... detached. Passion interferes with the ability to think after all. Still, they should be attuned to what you (and by extension, your body) are telling them.

Taraus loves routine. It's a security thing. I had a Tarsus buddy that had to have milk and oreos every night or he felt a little out of sorts. Why change a good thing?

Yes detached is the word.
I can't detach myself. I'm either into or not.

Venus enjoys exaltation in Pisces and so, according to the textbook, you two are supposed to be one passionate pair. Life is not like the textbook though sometimes

Have you ever tried communicating this to them? Perhaps they are not aware that they are putting you to sleep(and not in a good way).

You may be comfortable with variety and changing things up as a mutable Venus, but with us fixed Venus people, novelty kind of scares us: Especially when we are control freaks and are maybe a little insecure.

If we get suggestions to improve,we may take it badly and self-doubt. We may see it as a sign/indication that our lover is not pleased with us or that we are simply not "good enough" etc.

But this you must communicate sensitively and start foreplay way before you get into the bedroom. Venus in Taurus likes to be touched and persuaded to doing things.Take this as a cue.

Perhaps you could coach your Venus in Taurus for the little "out of the box" things that they do in order to get them to be more adventurous.

Sex is a delicate subject, yes. But it is absolutely necessary for you both to enjoy it and not start to dread it.

Taurus could be too fixated on the physical, mechanical act of gratification whereas, as a Venus in Pisces, you want a more "consuming", merging and indefinable experience.

Taurus won't have a clue what to do to get there and so, you'll have to goad them in. Either way,Taurus loves to drive their lover wild and will not be satisfied when they are the only ones who feel gratified in sex.

Take the lead and guide them(softly so).

I could give you pointers on how to do this, but I doubt the Know-flake members will appreciate my candor with the subject as sensitive and racy as sex.
