Venus enjoys exaltation in Pisces and so, according to the textbook, you two are supposed to be one passionate pair. Life is not like the textbook though sometimes
Have you ever tried communicating this to them? Perhaps they are not aware that they are putting you to sleep(and not in a good way).
You may be comfortable with variety and changing things up as a mutable Venus, but with us fixed Venus people, novelty kind of scares us: Especially when we are control freaks and are maybe a little insecure.
If we get suggestions to improve,we may take it badly and self-doubt. We may see it as a sign/indication that our lover is not pleased with us or that we are simply not "good enough" etc.
But this you must communicate sensitively and start foreplay way before you get into the bedroom. Venus in Taurus likes to be touched and persuaded to doing things.Take this as a cue.
Perhaps you could coach your Venus in Taurus for the little "out of the box" things that they do in order to get them to be more adventurous.
Sex is a delicate subject, yes. But it is absolutely necessary for you both to enjoy it and not start to dread it.
Taurus could be too fixated on the physical, mechanical act of gratification whereas, as a Venus in Pisces, you want a more "consuming", merging and indefinable experience.
Taurus won't have a clue what to do to get there and so, you'll have to goad them in. Either way,Taurus loves to drive their lover wild and will not be satisfied when they are the only ones who feel gratified in sex.
Take the lead and guide them(softly so).
I could give you pointers on how to do this, but I doubt the Know-flake members will appreciate my candor with the subject as sensitive and racy as sex.
