Hello everyone, I want to ask if there are astrological signs of never having a family or being married? I have full 5 and 7 houses, and as of yet have never been married, but have been engaged 2 times. could it be because I have saturn in the fifth house?

Do you only mean not experiencing these things despite of wanting them or are you interested in those who choose not to as well??

I once heard that there are 4 aspects in a woman's Chart that indicate that marriage will probably never happen

- Sun hard aspect to Mars
- Mars hard aspect to Saturn,
- Venus harsh to Uranus and Sun-Uranus

Hi, thanks for responding, well both are interesting, but in my case I really want them, but they do not happen for me.
I have had many relationships, three serious ones (lasting years), been engaged 2 times, yet no marriage and no kids. Always something happens...
Also have noticed that while I attract a lot of men, a deep relationship does not develop. And I really want it.

Thanks! This is very interesting. Especially the Uranus aspects. A bit relieved that I have none of those.

The weird thing is that most of my planets are in the houses of relationships/love/sex. So this should be the place where things happen the most or me. And yet..

lalalinda, thank you for the sweet welcome! :*

Well...I don't want any of these things but I'm open to a relationship more or less. It may never happen though (it's complicated). I too have Saturn in the 5th house. It's part of a stellium. Having planets in romance houses doesn't guarantee a successful love life or even its existence.

cappy, thanks. I guess so, but then what is the point of having planets in those houses then ... a bit confused.
Intuitively I feel that Saturn has a lot to do with Old maiden/bachelor syndrome because it is such a serious planet ) Uranus as well, but for different reasons --because it creates rebellion and chaos and desire or freedom from social norms.

Hi,

what do you have in the 7th house? and how is your 7th house ruler aspected/house/sign?

BTW, you said you had 3 long-term relationships, why do you say "a deep relationship doesn't evolve"?

These houses aren't only about romance. And you shouldn't expect things to always go smoothly. Unfortunately life doesn't work that way. Anyway, if you have outer or afflicted planets there, issues are likely.

Maybe they were crappy. Or maybe a relationship that doesn't result in marriage doesn't count to the OP

Hi, I do not want to break any rules with my first messages I.E. if I get too personal and not general please let me know.

So my 7th house is my sun and mercury. Neptune is on descendant
the ruler of the 7th house is Jupiter, he is in the 5th house with exact conjunction (0 degrees) with Saturn. Both of these planets make square with my sun, and sextile with my Venus.

I am saying that they do not develop, because for the past two years I have not been able to form a descent relationship. Had many dates and brief affairs. And in one of those I had very strong feelings, but the other side did not as it turns out. So it was quite painful.

Omg she has alot of hard influences. I always wondered about sun/neptune, does she have any addictions/ does she live in illusions is she prone to escapism?

Uranus conjunct Venus I imagine is exactly "short" relationships or rebel unconventional relationships.

Don't worry about it, you're doing fine ...by the book! lol...and I'm not the IRS

so you're a Sag Sun with Gem ASC, Neptune on DSC, Saturn probably ruling 8th? And Neptune rules MC, maybe?

Everything is exactly as you said just Uranus is ruling the MC by seconds And I am a cap sun, but the 7th house is ruled by sag

DSC ruler conjunct Saturn so close and Saturn being the ruler of your Sun, it may indicate a marriage/partnership later in life.

Do you have any interception?

Why is it that when men don't marry, it seems less of a big deal than when women do the same?

The so-called "Old Maid syndrome" makes it seem like there is something inherently "wrong" with the woman. That is why she can't find suitors?

But then again, in the past, a woman's status depended very much on how many suitors she had; her "prettiness", the family she came from as well as her "chastity".

Astrologically though, marriage is, in my opinion, the domain of the Moon.

So,the Moon sign, house position as well as aspects to the Moon, suggest how one may feel about all things matrimonial and thus, their chances of getting married.

What is the status of your Moon?

It's not that, me thinks. In her case, she wants to start a family.

There's your clue!...interception

Yes, a sign hidden in a house...it will come out, but it needs the right moment, to be ripe...it also needs someone putting planets there, someone with personal planets or ASC/DSC on Libra/Aries axis.

Aries/Libra is the axis of marriage. Also, 5th/11th is the axis of love. So they are both a bit blocked (not forever). Your DSC ruler conjunct Saturn is "trapped" there, in the interception, needs to be brought out. My advice: pay more attention to Saturnian types with personal planets on Libra/Aries axis and avoid Neptunian types (and your own Neptunian behavior, if any) for a while

I have a Libra Moon in the 2nd house. Is it me or should I love the idea of marriage?

I forgot to mention that the aspects I listed are indicators for divorce as well and it seems to be true. All divorced women I know have at least 2 of them

Oh, man, that sounds very exciting! My love, who broke my heart recently was not a Neptunian type, but his sun was on my descendant in conjunction with my Neptune, and I really had illusions that he is also in love with me and wants something serious with me. Basically, invented the whole thing, after which rude awakening followed...
