Which is better in synastry? NOT just romantic synastry. Any form of love and affection. Is it sun/moon dw or moon/venus?
My son shares a sun-moon DW with my husband.
With me its just Moon-venus DW. I do have a moon/venus dw with my husband.
Son: Sag sun,Aries Moon/Scorpio Venus/Taurus asc
Husband: Aries Sun/Gemini moon/Taurus Venus/Aries asc
I: Gemini Sun/Leo moon/Aries venus/Cancer asc
Im sure sun-moon is better cuZ what they have is so easy. Its like my husband doesnt have to put in all those HARDWORK. But i must confess its amazing when we three sit together. Love at its purest.

I like sun moon if its not hard aspects. You just really look up to and like and rely on each other. Even if we fight we always make up quickly and don't stay mad for long.

Moon Venus is good too I imagine but I've never had a dw with anyone and so far this aspect never stood out to me. I think maybe other aspects overpowered it and stood out more. I imagine a double whammy would make it more prominent.

Depends on what you want.

Sun/Moon is less sweet/romantic, it's more about basic compatibility, easy flow of communication; there's a similarity in temperament and emotional reactions; it's easy to just "be" with each other. It can get kind of complacent though.

Moon/Venus doesn't always point to compatibility but it adds a desire to be close to the other person, please them, and be affectionate with them.

Bansheequeen i havent experienced a sun-moon dw either. I have been the sun and felt adored by the moon person. Maybe i dont have the natal makeup to adore ppl Would like to experience it.
@douxreve: i did notice this. With my husband n son its like they have their mutual fan club! But im the one he fusses with a lot. As long as Im getting most of his hugs n kisses Im happy. With my husband since i share the same aspect(moon-venus dw) we tend to appreciate n im in my best behaviour around them. Difficult to pinpoint cuz we share many other double whammys like moon-pluto,moon-neptune,jupiter mars etc.
Thanks guys for the insight.

I have this!

His SUN trine my MOON (0°30)
My SUN sextile his MOON (3°30)

Pretty tight. Very dear soulmate. We bonded crazy-fast. That's not THE reason why, but I'm sure it helped.

Also, among my top ten:

SUN conjunct MOON (9°)
MOON square SUN (1°)

(Best friends of 21 years)

SUN semisextile MOON (3°)
MOON semisquare SUN (0°)

(My Twin Flame -- believe it or not.)

SUN opposite MOON (3°)
MOON sesquisquare SUN (0°)

(My Guardian Soul)

That's a good smattering -- some major, some minor, some mixed.

I have sun-moon dw with my s.o. It has less to do with romantic feelings, it's like we admire each other's qualities - "you have what I lack". I'd imagine moon-venus to be romantic n sweet.

I have moon-venus dw with one of my best friends. We have never fought or even argued lol.

IndigoDirae: How lovely! Its like u have a pattern, a need for those Sun-moon dw aspects in yr close relationships.
With my son AND husband, there are no major aspects to my sun! Just a minor aspect from husband's sun to mine. N a minor aspect from my son's capricorn stellium to my sun. Ewww : (

At your request, geminigal2805, it'll be my pleasure.

Randall, if I'm out of bounds here, let me know?

Nope! I can't. But Randall can.

I'm sure he's well aware given both of our posts. No worries.
