Stand aside Taurus & Libra, Leo is the best Venus...Leo rules the heart. Taurus is too cautious and Libra too refined. Venus in Leo loves love, loves being in love, and loves being a lover in the most dramatic way.Are you Venus in Leo or have personal experience with them? IP: Logged |

My friend has Venus in Leo and he's the type of guy who gets in relationships just for the sake of it. He's a big cheater, too. So is my grandpa who has the same placement. Totally NOT the best venus placement. Plus, they think that love can be bought with grand things. That's really not the case for true love.IP: Logged |

Wants thing their way in the bedroom, not really willing to compromise of meet half way, dated someone for three plus years, had a big good heart. My vote goes for Cancer as the best Venus, leads to quite some romantic musical artists as well, Lenny Kravits, Everlast to name a couple.IP: Logged |

I love Venus in Leo! They are warm, caring, a bit demanding, but easy to please  stroke their ego a bit and they melt.. Some people don't like the level of attention they need, but I've found that a lot of people who lean ths way are too wrapped up in themselves or in the goings on of the world around them to give said attention. That, IMO, isn't Leo Venus' fault. Everyone has their needs and if they aren't met, this Venus placement (much akin to their fire Venus brethren) will find someone who will meet those needs.But they are generally kind hearted, giving creatures who love to adorn their beloved with beautiful gifts, not just BC they are expensive, but to see the delight receiving said gifts brings to the recipient. Some might say shallow; I say grand, elegant, beautiful gestures. They aren't for everyone, but for those who adore them, they are quite spectacular  And not all of them cheat. My greatest love from my past was a Leo Venus/gem mars (scary combo eh? Pffft) and while yes, in his younger years he liked to sleep around, he never involved himself in a relationship and then deviated from his SO. Dating one right now
Venus in Leos used to scare the hell out of me but I think I m now used to it as I get more matureBut balancing their need for attention and having their way,
with keeping them respectful and not letting them get bored of you
is no joke.. what a mission!! My conclusion is that emotional intelligence and maturity serves a significant factor on whether one can handle venus in leos or not
Oh and cleverness, to not let them get bored Whenever I do something for my current date, shes always like omg we r just like thst couple from notebook

Well from all what I read, even old traditional astrology, it has mostly been positive things said about this Venus, it can be a very romantic Venus. Venus does shine in Leo; and besides Taurus, Libra, and Pisces this is another nice place for Venus. I'm biased because I have this Venus, but it also is in the Pisces duad, I'm a more subdued Leo Venus but I do take love very seriously and not selfish at all, but I can feel how powerful Venusian traits can spring forth from Leo Venus, it can certainly be very sparkly and self-centered, but Leo always tries to give back, they may ask for a lot, but their love can be very strong. Most have a strong need for self-expression and creativity. I agree that Cancer Venus is another nice Venus, in Vedic my Venus is in Cancer. IP: Logged |

Oh yeah I would like to raise another point for venus in leos.
As we all know, venus in leos would like to be chased a little, just like Rachel McAdams did in the the notebook. (Nothing wrong with this, nor am I suggesting this applies to every Venus in leos)I think venus in leos should really be careful with playing hard to get sometimes because it sets them up for disappointment in certain cases. Like this wouldn't be worth the concern if the leo's partner is emotionally mature but sometimes we come across egoistic people who can't distinguish between love and their needs to be accepted
Like if a guy chases a girl for long time, that guy can be bored once the chasing is over Has anybody asked themselves: "Why do men do everything they can do to get a girl but not keep one?" IP: Logged |

Venus in Leo??? They ooze love. . . BUT they are stubborn as hell. I mean, they want things to go THEIR WAY and want you to BEND to their demands no matter how selfish it sounds. I think its due to my Aquarius and Libra planets that has me kind of has part of me distant towards them. God love 'em, but I just give them that distance to do things the way they want to do it, as long as they don't expect me to go along with every whim and desire they have, we will get along fine. However, if you expect me to be in tow like "a little red wagon" going along with everything YOU WANT and you're not willing to compromise. . . then I won't be sticking around you for very long.IP: Logged |

Whenever I think of relationships first thing I think is I won't get my way all the time and what kind of problems that will surface due to that lol. I like someone to have their way only if it is same as mine. I think it's mostly a Venus in Leo thing because I have Libra planets, too. Venus in Leo, for me, means liking to have my way a lot. I have V in Leo and I have to agree with some of the descriptions here HAHA. We may seem selfish and throw a fit sometimes, but that's only because we want your undivided attention, only from the people we love anyway. For full disclosure, I have Leo Venus.I don't think that love can be bought with things; I think things are bought because of infatuation/love. It's the gesture that matters more than anything. I'm stubborn, demanding, grandiose at times, and love adoration. Many times I've heard, you're so full of yourself, to which I reply, well why shouldn't I be. Queue eye-roll and groan. I'm also generous, and give all of the adoration I expect to receive. I'd rather not have to, but as I've gotten older, I've learned to compromise. Also, for the less evolved Leo, there's a trick: as far as getting their way...the Leo only has to think they're getting their way...stroke their ego and make them think that it was their idea. I can understand if people don't want to have to play that trick though. Some people are just better suited. There's a difference between selfish and self-centered. Selfishness is often stingy, and even if self-centered, Leo is apt to be generous. I've been known to bound up stairs two at a time at midnight with a song on my lips and trinkets and flowers in my hands. The trinkets and flowers only matter to see your face light up. It's ok if we toss them aside and get on with things. One thing that I also think is intimidating (or overwhelming) for some is the number of crushes/infatuations I juggle at one time. And at my choosing, I can fall in love immediately and energetically swoop in. This might be due to the Venus combined with a Sag Mars. Sag is likely to be just as demanding and generous, but the trade-off is wild unpredictability rather than ego. Ok, what brought on this thread? Yesterday I had a tantrum and deleted all contact information and history of communication with three guys I started to date. Why? Why else, I wasn't getting the level attention I wanted. Today I found a way to communicate with one of them. I apologized and said I was a childish jerk. But I'm sure it's over. One thing I'm not Venus Leo like is supposedly we're into ostentatiously glamorous mates. Head-turning is one thing, but overly accessorized, preened, fussy, loud (looking) is a big turn-off. One of the worst relationships I had was with a Libra Mars. My need for pyrotechnics conflicted with their need for "harmony". I probably need a Leo Mars to handle me. IP: Logged |

I have venus in Leo.I have too many planets in Leo to NOT want to take the lead.  I am guilty to what most of you said, however I have never played hard to get in my whole life. Venus in Leo here. Whereas some people see it as self-centered and stubborn I see it more as a venus having more spine than most other venus's. We know what we want and what we want is usually nice. A lot of the descriptions here are accurate but we love grandly and largely and can love a lot. If you keep our attention by giving us a lot, we'll love you more than you've ever felt loved before. But if you know what you're getting into and you still try to play the hard to get game with us once we've caught you, you should probably screw off to be blunt about it hahaha, its not worth our time and we will lose interest in you fast. I don't know how it is to be a singleton venus in leo because my Venus is conjunct my Sun in Leo as well as my mercury so my loving is all infused with my conscious self. Or maybe these traits are just magnified because of so much Leo. xD I like fun girls who know how to have a good time and who I can ping off of with fiery playfulness and wittiness. If you're boring it won't be too good of a match. We really like the nice things in life and want the best for ourselves, something I think many other signs should really try. We are also generous and love to give (the evolved Leo influenced people, anyways), especially to those we love. I love grandly, think grandly, and am grand in my approach to life and I don't know why others don't/aren't heh. IP: Logged |

Yeah from what I've seen, male Venus in Leos were generous aggressors who aren't afraid to give and dive in and show their loveWhere as venus in leo women loves the scenarios like the movie notebook I know this one venus in leo girl who was chased by a guy for 3 years

I do test guys definitely but I don't play hard to get, I don't like playing games. I like the relationship to start quickly and on fire, to have a romantic courtship, for the romance to continue after the courtship and for the relationship to last. Aries in the 5th

So because I have been very busy, I was unable to see her for a week and I tried to make up for it by being affectionate on the phone. This got her annoyed, calling me clingy and all (and I just played it cool, held in my pride)
Do you think it would be a good idea to buy roses for her?
