Aspecting? Hot n cold at it's best...they really want to own you at the same time they need a ton of space and can't deal with being expected to fit into the mold of a relationship but you'd better behave, they tend to have a double standard, they can do whatever they want and you can do what they tell you to do. I dated a guy with this. At first, it seemed like a great match, with my Mars in Aqua and Venus in Pisces, but I actually found that although he was very sweet and polite most of the time, he was very aggressive when angry and was also often kind of cold. Not sure if that was specifically because of this combo, though. His Mars/Venus didn't aspect.------------------

Holy crap, you described my ex fiance to a T!!! He has both these placements and it's exactly how he acted after we broke up. I couldn't take the hot and cold headgames after around 2 years so I just stopped talking to him altogether. IP: Logged |

Ugh. You just decribed his aquarius sun Scorpio moon guy I knew a long time ago. A mix of innocent but darkly sexual. Aqua Scorp combination is dangerous lol. Mind games of the sexual kind. Venus in scorpio with mars in air are all like this. But aquarius, in my opinion, is the least likeable mars of all 3. The other two, gemini and libra, have a wider spectrum of preys (lol), and will be there for a while with higher charm, not only mind games. It's just my opinion.IP: Logged |

You guys are right about the "Hot & Cold" aspect, though I think its the same if it were Venus and Aquarius and Mars in Scorpio because my father is like this and it is by far one of my most difficult relationships in my immediate family. Currently, things are ok only if I keep interactions to a minimum. I have met other people with this placement as well and they are super sneaky, manipulative and lack a sense of boundaries. My father's cousin is the same age as him, but the guy basically played these deceptive mind games in trying to draw a wedge further in between my father and I, all while he had a sick, incestuous motivation all along towards me. When it came to light and he revealed his feelings, I made a clean break and he found himself banned from the family. This is indeed a difficult natal placement to deal with.IP: Logged |

The paradox is that Venus in Scorpio usually indicates an intense desire for passionate romance, while Mars in Aquarius is very independent, proud, and sometimes aloof. This means that a 'look, but don't touch' quality can submerge the individual with this configuration. As others have commented, a 'hot and cold' feel is appropriate. There is not much consistency when it comes to sexual drives. At times, these people will be entirely immersed in a passionate love affair; then, just as suddenly (Aquarius is sudden), they will withdraw when they feel they are being smothered, lack personal space, etc. Very ironic considering that Venus in Scorpio can be too invasive and possessive. Mars in Aquarius tempers this tendency, perhaps. At worst, you'll find someone who wants to possess others but not be possessed themselves. Very unfair. IP: Logged |
