My Obsession has his Sun on my Sun-Moon MP 0°. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will want him forever. Regardless of what his feelings ever are, I will simply always feel like he's the most perfect creature walking on the face of this Earth.

I think the fact that his Sun is a Leo, plus the Leo Sun- my Midpoint conjunction falls in my 1st house just magnifies it to an unreal proportion. I utterly worship him. Grief. It makes me sick sometimes. I'm not in a relationship with him, so I'm just stuck with all this adoration and worship for him.

I think that the feeling of completion is very strong when the Sun-Moon Midpoint owner has a Natal Sun-Moon square, as is my case. When the Sun and Moon are square you never feel like you can have what you need and what you want. You feel like you have to ALWAYS choose between what you want to do and what you have to do. You envy people who have Sun-Moon conjunct, trine, or sextile, because you see them often having what they need and what they want being the same thing. They get to enjoy that feeling of cohesion that always seems to elude you.

So, when you have that square, and someone's Sun hits that midpoint, it makes the feeling that they make you feel whole overwhelming. It's not that you feel like you're empty and they fill you. That's not the sensation. I don't feel empty without this person. I feel full inside. It's more the sense that they represent the meeting or fusion of your conflicting Sun and Moon. They feel like what you want AND need both at once, something a person with the Natal Sun-Moon square rarely feels. They make you feel like you don't have to choose one or the other with them. They can be both.

I've read that it can also be very strong for people who's Natal Sun and Moon do not aspect one another. For them, the Sun hitting their midpoint helps them to feel a connection between their Sun and Moon that they normally don't get to feel.

I think it would depend on where exactly the midpoint falls in the MP owner's chart. In my case, my Sun-Moon Midpoint falls in Leo in my first house. So, a Leo Sun hitting that spot and being in my 1st house just overwhelms me with awe. I mean PURE AND UTTER AWE. I simply stand defenceless where that person is concerned. Now, that's my near MP. My far MP is in Aquarius in my 8th house, and someone's Sun falling there in my 8th would probably be strong, but not as strong as the other because there's just no Sun that shines as brightly and inspires worship like a Leo Sun.

However, if someone had their Sun-Moon MP fall in Cancer or in their 4th house, then that person would probably feel the effects of a Cancer Moon hitting their midpoint as overwhelming. I'd imagine that the sense of emotional fulfillment and nurturing they felt would be unparalleled.

I met a guy who also had his Sun conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint. I wasn't that crazy about him. I found him a little shifty(probably because I suspect he had Pisces Asc or Neptune in house 1)

Olivier Martinez has his Moon conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint and I am not all that interested in him either.

I think I might be indifferent to people who have their Sun or Moon conjunct my Sun/Moon Midpoint.

But if I check my Moon/Mercury midpoint. Howza!!! I've dated tons of people who have Moon/Sun/Venus/Mars/Asc aspecting it mostly by conjunction. But the squares also get my attention.

Aries, are your Moon and Mercury square or in hard aspect? Are they 5th or 8th house rulers? I'm curious what makes that midpoint so much more sensitive for you.
