But according to wisdom, I'd say gemini and virgo because ruled by mercury and 3rd + 6th house, sagittarius because ruled by jupiter and 9th house of higher learning and capricorn because ruled by saturn the most patient planet and 10th house of success (and aquarius because ruling planet is the genius and unconventional planet uranus)

But I'd say out of the houses the 3rd and 9th seems to be something to do with learning and higher knowledge, but they have to be activated too and prominent in the chart, ether by placement, aspects to their ruler or something like that? And a well placed mercury or highly aspected mercury, but I guess it's mostly for the science-mathemathician… a spiritual/social intelligence is something else maybe

It's almost worthy of putting it as a signature! I feel the same way but I'm a Virgo merc and Gemini moon.

On a side note... I could see how someone might be genuinely curious and not have ill intent but people get REALLY bent out of shape about their signs.
I also agree that you can't just set certain boundaries when measuring intelligence or in fact.. Accurately even measure it!

It's definitely beyond sun signs, a combination of traits.

For curiosity and the willingness to learn - gemini and aquarius
for attention to detail and complexity - virgo
for depth of insight and relentless penetration into the unknown - scorpio
for intuition and divine insight - cancer, pisces
the search for truth - sagittarius
for inspiration and the drive to make it happen to begin with - aries, leo
For discipline and tenacity - capricorn and taurus
the ability to look at different sides of the same coin - libra

Intelligence is a multi-faceted and dynamic trait that can't be defined clearly. For example in the sciences, you can be observing and discovering, or inventing and creating, which are very different things. The people who work in labs that are observing and discovering are trying to understand nature, they have to have good intuition to make the predictions necessary in order to make the discoveries they are looking for as their work is dependent on nature and not on creations of man, which are only used to help further their understanding of the natural sciences (biology, physics, etc). This type of work generally likens itself more to intuitive receptive water and pragmatic realistic earth, the feminine elements.

When people are inventing and creating, they are taking what has already been discovered and understood, and shaping it and designing it into something that can be used by man for different things. This is the case in subjects like engineering and technology, and likens itself more to the communicative and creative air and fire, the masculine elements.
