With me it's the Southern hemisphere - the upper half of my chart, where every asteroid placement is retrograde, specifically in houses 8,9, and 10. Most of my planets, however, lie in the bottom half of my chart, with Moon in 7 and Uranus in 12 in the top half - which are not retro.

The trend is reversed for my SM. He has all planets in the top half and nearly all placements in houses 3, 4 and 5 are retrograde. Perhaps, I'm missing something quite basic here. Is this common to other people?
