So I've been really into studying progressed charts lately, and a question has come up that I can't seem to find the answer to.My question is, which chart or placements are the more accurate representation of the people we are dealing with..the natal or the progressed? Like for instance I am a Taurus sun & people refer to Taurus sun traits to describe me, BUT my progressed sun is in Gemini & I act nothing like how a Taurus should "act". So would that mean my natal sun would be irrelevant if I'm currently progressed to a Gemini? Unless there is a piece of the puzzle I'm missing when it comes to progressions? Help me to better understand please IP: Logged |

First... try my progression method.Figure out where your progressed ascendent is. 1-2 degrees per year of your life. After you figure out where that is, go on astrotheme or cafeastrology and open up the time where your progressed ascendent is at the ascendent. So if you progressed ascendent is at 23 degrees pisces then open up the chart that is at 23 degrees pisces. Now all the planets would have probably changed houses. This is the best method for calculating a progressed chart. For me anyway. This would have been your chart a few hours after birth... which would be a lot more relevant then a few days or weeks after your birth. Also note what house your sun is in. House placements might be even more powerful than sign placements. Who knows. Ex Sun in 4th house would be cancer. But I think overall the sign placement would dominate because your sign placement stays the same while your house placement changes a few times. Let me know what you think IP: Logged | |
