...would you? Which one and why?

For example, if I were picking anything, I might choose my mars. Maybe a nice trine to my sun for more energy would be nice. But then my choices would be Libra in the 12th or Aquarius in the 4th... each has its own set of downsides.

Or do you think your chart has it right? Are you happy with your placements?

Well... I'm OK with it really. Still not fond of the Virgo but oh well.

I'd leave it. It's who I am but if I could move one... Neptune so that it's just out of reach for squaring Venus.

Its not the Libra mars I would mind but the 12 house might worry me a bit. My mars is in the 7th already so it has a bit of that Libra vibe.

How would Mars 12 feel?

When you have it you're used to the energy. You're not afraid of it, something TOO many people who've never experienced it are. DF has 12th Virgo Mars and holds his tongue a lot when upset. But because my sun, moon and mercury are there, I'm able to pick up on it right away. 12th house Mars is full of secrets and extremely private. Feel defeated easily but work very well on their own. Avid fantasizer. They need people who are going to help them up, not bring them down.

I've asked myself that question many a time lol. I usually pick taking my Mars out of the 12th. I'd also like to have aspects to my Sun, it's unaspected. Maybe even Uranus in the 7th.

Just my thoughts of my own experiences. (I have it)

Mars in 12 seems immature. It needs to learn to express itself. When, how, where. It gets repressed and later misdirected and overblown.
It can be learned but takes some discovery of your 12th, how you are "self-undoing", realizing that one of the hidden enemies may in fact be yourself and that you just don't see it.
It takes practice

Barbie has helped me leaps and bounds with this.

If you learn about 12th, how to make it work for you, and embrace it... Wow... What a blessing!

I would love a fire Mars.. And definitely placed somewhere else other than my 4th house lol..

I would honestly put my moon in my 12th house with the rest of most of personal planets (I have Sun, Mercury, Venus in the 12th). I have moon in the 1st and while I love the intuition and sensitivity to other people it brings me, I'm just a bigger fan of secrecy and mystery. I feel like too many people can read my emotions with moon in the 1st and I don't like it.

Other than that, I'm content with my chart. Maybe I'd like a fire rising to give me some more energy, or a Scorpio rising to give me that intensity, but I'd probably stick with my dull, boring Taurus AC if I really had a choice. It's what I know.

..such a Taurus thing to say.

hahahahahahaha #Me
I have taurus ascendant
idk tho, I mean, i have my gem moon in 1st house and i'm not really a fan of mystery or secrecy, i really don't like secretive people. so i wouldn't wanna be secretive myself.
I would replace my fiery mercury with air via gemini mercury

I would change my Libra Mercury into a Virgo Mercury because I prefer and value the skills and intellect of a Virgo Mercury than a Libra.

Social skills do not impress me, but intelligence does.

Besides, it's not like Libra is attractive to the opposite sex, they're just attractive in general because they're pleasant, fair and agreeable, so I don't even get that perk from Libra.

If I'm going to be a Virgo Sun, I should have a Virgo Mercury as well... if not, then I might as well just be a Libra Sun.

Surprisingly, I'm actually content with my Aries Mercury. It makes me quick witted. DeepFreeze said something along the lines of, "Gemini Mercury talk to others too much, Gemini moon talk to themselves too much". So, I would keep Gemini moon without a doubt, especially over Gemini Mercury lol.

What you said there... When you're used to the energy, you're not afraid of it... That's kind of what I was thinking when I made this thread. I was thinking how if you could change something about yourself would you, knowing that a part if you that you've come to accept, even work with, might be lost in the process?

You know... Libras can be very VERY sharp.
As Virgo mercury I'm not so sure that you'd like it. lol

Saturn in 1st.

Not an easy aspect to grow up with: was very shy and reserved. Difficult to gain confidence and feel comfortable in my skin. Having Saturn as a chart ruler is something I really didn't wish I had, as its hard for me to bounce back from disappointment. I pretty much was the ugly duckling up until my college years, not fun. It was and still is once in a while hard for me to break the need to be perfect. I do not like the way Saturn on my ASC affects my appearance either. I'm a workaholic that doesn't know how to stop and relax.

Sorry to sound like a debbie downer- I've always hated this aspect! Other than that I like the ridiculousness of my natal chart.

Eh, Mars in 4th could probably take a hike too

I'm neither happy nor unhappy about my chart. It's not like I can change it lol.

If I could, however, I'd move my entire 12th house stellium into the 1st to play with my natal 1st house saturn. My saturn constantly has to squeeze that water out of my earth. The perks of the 12th house are nice enough, the downsides aren't too bad, but meh I'd prefer something else. At this point, I'm pretty bored already.

Or, probably move them all to the 10th house - I'd love to have my chart ruler (or my sun) in its house. Tsk tsk. But my s.o says that he doesn't know if he would like that 10th house stellium lol

My retrograde mars in cancer, too passive and emotional/explosive/self destructive. This placement isnt action, it's more like "wounding" yourself to get what you need, but even then sometimes you dont get what you need because people see you as pathetic. Also sometimes lack of energy with this.

I'd move my Jupiter to the 10th house. Good for career (hopefully) and I guess it would be fun to have Sag Merc opposite Jupiter. Where it is now it's rather useless.

I'd add some Sag,put some planets in the 9th house, maybe get rid of that Virgo rising, which is to me too prim and proper and often boring.Definitely take that Retro Saturn in Capricorn out of the 4th house and into a much happier place for it.Any house for Saturn but the 4th!!

I have Saturn in 4th too, I hear ya! I want some happiness for once and not feel like I'm emotionally cold.
