If NN is in Scorpio....would this indicate you need to use scorpio traits in accomplishing this? Being protective of yourself, digging deep and uncovering hidden truths will be helpful? Maybe not trusting just anyone instead allowing ppl to prove they are worthy of trust. Not caring about material things or putting to much value in them.Do you think this would be a good way to interpret a scorp NN in the 2nd house? IP: Logged |

I would like an answer to this as well however my north node in the 2nd house is in SagittariusI don't really connect with the idea that I'm supposed to strive for material wealth and possessions, business etc. at all. In fact, if I had it my way none of that superficial stuff would exist, or at least- function in the way that it does today. I guess that's the point of a NN I guess, it's the opposite of what you've previously known. Would Sagittarius NN mean gaining material wealth through spiritual pursuits and higher learning? It means you have to learn to stand on your own 2 feet and find your own success. Live with the money you have and earn from your job. Don't have sex just becasue you feel lonely. IP: Logged |

I see the 2nd house has self worth and personal values more than just money and possessions. NN in the second house can seek self worth through partners and partners possessions.I have my NN in Pisces in the 6th house. It has taken a while for me to understand this. When your node is in the opposite sign and house I think the key is finding a perfect balance in the energy. You don't want to act too Scorpio or too Taurus. You need to always be aware of balancing. I don't think it's wealth scorpio would strive for....I almost think it's the security that would go with that sign. Scorpio I think would find security in investigation and protection.....maybe? I would think saggy would be striving for freedom, education and the security to live life on their own terms, these would make a saggy feel secure and rich in life! IP: Logged |

I have a Libra NN in H2-I see it as amassing values/valuables from my own self/money--not others (H8). For the Libra placement--I see it as learning to cooperate. With my SN in Aries, I must have been an independent fireball in my past life (who still had someone taking away my power since my Pluto is conjunct my NN.. )IP: Logged |

I agree with it though. It's what you find valuable to you. Anything.... A skill, a way of life, money... Anything that is valuable to you. Along with developing Scorpio traits. We may need to use intuition and depth, dig and uncover things to find our "treasures" and in fact some of those abilities may be treasures that we value. Let me ask you, this is a serious question BTW. Not rhetorical. As I have this exact placement. Do you find that death is for the most part easy to cope with? Things of that nature? The darker side of life? Do you see the light in those things? Except some crimes and violence make me angry to see. I don't like to see suffering. IP: Logged |

When ppl die, I don't focus on the loss I focus on the pain they are out of. I see death as a moment in their souls life that they are getting a break from the pain of having to grow through experiencing suffering and pain. I don't like violence at all but yes I can find the good in the darkness effortlessly. I have some interesting beliefs that help me find the light in the darkness. IP: Logged |
