Just yesterday I met a new Scorpio friend. He was totally awesome and friendly until I was pressured by everyone to give a Martial arts demonstration. After he saw me wield the chucks, he went from being totally outgoing and talkative to quite and scared. His face was red, he was breathing heavily, sweating, his adrenaline was pumping.

Why?

I thought Scorpio's are supposed to be able to see through everyone's intentions. I liked the guy, knew he was a Scorpio, and honestly was just showing off a little. A Martial similarity. I had to put the chucks down because I thought he was gonna have a panic attack.

I dunno I'm a Scorpio Rising so it doesn't matter if someone is intimidating or not to me. I look right to the heart of the matter. I'll always know when someone has it out for me, people pretending to my friends and such.

I've had this problem before with Scorpio's in the past. Do you guys just have a short adrenal gland?(I guess you can't call adrenaline fear) so to speak. A lot of times it involved accidentally making them sweat, no bad intention, to them taking it to a very personal and brought to a very childish, destructive level.

I think they get called fearless because they're more likely to explore aspects of life most of us like to pretend don't exist (as it doesn't make us feel better about ourselves, and perhaps make even more fearful than Scorpio if we dared face it head on) and because of that they can learn to read people better...but that doesn't allow them to "see through people" but rather correctly identify the people who don't mean them well more often (since they expect it anyway). In my observation, truly impressive intuition is as rare for them as anyone else under another sign.

I am not fearless and I think VERY few could say that, if in fact any. I have a certain lack of fear about those things myself. (recklessness, if my brakes went out which actually happened one winter when the line froze and broke,etc). I too can go on and on about topics (death, abuse, etc) that others barely touch on. I won't get into detail.
But I'm Leo. I do have Pluto/asc so I'm not sure if that's part of it... Jupiter in 8th, my 12th house stuff. Who knows.

But seriously, all Scorpio's are different like any other sign, just because one Scorpio is The Rock doesn't mean the other one is Sylvester Stallone. One Scorpio may have Mars in Libra afflicted and Pluto afflicted. The other Scorpio may have a Scorpio Mars or with a strong Pluto in 10th and a Mars/Jupiter aspect or Mars/Pluto. Your ruling planet/s will tell you a lot about chart strength.

This is the vibe I get too. The know how bad the world can be. For someone truly fearless I I would go with sag. I think you need to be pretty optimistic or believe that you are invincible to be fearless. Bravery is different I could see a Scorpio being brave. They got a lot of intestinal fortitude.

People think I'm very brave and fearless but really that's just me being a head in the clouds Aquarius. When you're not really grounded in reality, real things don't scare you as much as they should. On the other hand scorpios are very aware of the bad scary things.
