I have a chart filled with squares, and naturally I experience a lot of conflicts in my life in many situations, both personally and with others. But I often feel that without the conflict, no improvement would be made, and no clearance.

After a conflict I feel an improvement, both personally and with the ones I had the conflict with. If no improvement, at least I get clearance over something important.

If I didn't have those conflicts I feel that I would get no clearance, and that something is "missing" perhaps, something that could take it all to the next level.

With some people I need those conflicts to move on, cause without them everything would seem like it didn't matter, cause no one would be saying anything, and no problems would ever be solved.

Of course, the conflict it self is often problematic, for an example I have some pretty aggressive aspects (mars opposite moon and mars square uranus) and I can have a pretty bad temper sometimes! This is of course destructive, and some people will back off.
But wouldn't they be backing off anyways? Without the conflict, those people would probably be more and more ignorant, and on top of that, no one would have gotten any clearance over anything and what got wrong.

So the double side with the squares is that it seems like these conflicts are often with a constructive outcome, but the conflict itself can be very destructive and damaging… afterwards I will often get to a point of clearance, but on the other hand something might got broken, and some things cannot get fixed again…

My question is how important it is to have these conflicts, or would it be more important to learn how to avoid them, so that nothing will get broken, both personally and in situations that involves people?

My $.02...

I guess my first take is that it depends what you want out if life. Do you want to float through and just get by? Or do you want to accomplish something? Or maybe just learn, grow, evolve?

I think you need both hard and flowing if you want an interesting life.

I have a friend with a GT fire involving his sun and moon. He has amazing luck. But he has no motivation to accomplish anything.

I have 2 t-squares and a loose GT water. I go through a lot of conflict but I get support and comfort too.

I just looked at Bruce Lee's chart a bit ago. I'm a fan of his. (RIP)

I was surprised to see almost nothing but conjunctions that then opposed or squared other conjunctions.
Just a big red triangle.

I would have never guessed it.
