Who here has this placement? Please share experiences or how you express this placement?

I know someone who has this placement and he'd show tough love often. For an example I'd beat myself up for receiving a bad grade in a class and he'd be like "well moping isn't going to get you anywhere, get off your ass and bring out your true potential" lol funny cuz he's a libra Venus you'd think he'd sugar coat.

I'm confused if this placement alone indicates a loyal, serious attitude towards relationship or if it just makes one insecure and cold in one.

I'm venus sq Saturn & am both. I'm loyal in the sense would never cheat, internalise guilt a lot so it wouldn't make a difference if no one would ever find out. I have been disloyal in a cold manner when I think it's practically necessary and of good reason but it kills me to do so.

I'm pessimistic in that ... Well I feel weighted easily.

Maybe with men with Venus sq Saturn they are more critical, though. I don't do tough love towards others and sometimes too sympathetic but I have tried to call on a detachment when I think I need to

I have this placement and I would say I'm all those things you said , I would never cheat on someone just because when I'm with someone in a realtionship it's because I like them a lot so for me I don't see a point in cheating and I take relationships extremely serious. Now I would say that I'm pretty pessimistic but not always , I like to think ,and yes I have acted cold and have become detached but just when I feel like i need to ,just like the person above me said , it's usually when I feel something's wrong I become detached though or when I need space which again is when i feel something is going on.

I have Venus square Saturn, I'm very loyal in relationships and friendships -- I just want to enjoy the person and understand them; I hate drama, arguments, cheating, and petty disputes. I view my relationships very mature and maybe even idealistic. I can be a little shy when meeting people, so both conditions exist a little cold but very warm and affectionate too. It just takes me longer to warm up to people.

I'm not too pessimistic, since I have Moon trine Jupiter, but I can be self-critical of myself, and wanting to do a good job or succeed in something I set out to accomplish, I hate to fail. So your friend's tough love, sounds a lot like what I would say. "If you really want something you have to fight for it..., but then you have to know when to let go when you've done the best you could".

In Vedic astrology, Venus and Saturn are actually friends, I think this idea that Venus/Saturn is very limiting comes from Western astrology. I think this aspect can be positive and wise with a little bit of ice. Sometimes ice is just what you need to see things clearly...

I have Venus sextile Saturn (not the same, I know) but I am ridiculously loyal, very serious and yes, sometimes a downer (not really pessimistic, but very realistic).

Sometimes it comes across cold, but I can't sugar coat anything because it doesn't REALLY help anyone.

My Saturn is placed in Virgo though so I like everything to be clear and proper. *lol*

I saw somewhere, that a Venus square Saturn for a woman, may play out as:

Venus gets the things that she wants provided by her Saturn partner, but he is always at WORK so he can PAY for them.

Does this aspect cause that kind of distance?

Do these relationships incline those to lean more toward the material world?

What is his sun and merc? I'm a Sag sun and merc i'd probably say the same thing.

I have Venus opp Saturn (not the same but...) I'm also very loyal and optimistic in relationships. maybe a bit too optimistic some times. prob all that Sag.

One of my exes has venus sq saturn. He was so hot but lacked confidence. He had bad luck in love- lots of unrequited love. He was pessimistic and ended up marrying out of duty. He is not faithful to his wife though.

My friend has venus opp saturn. Again, lacked confidence in his looks. Not fsithful at all but other aspects could explain his infidelity.

I find what too much Saturn can cause is a certain type of partner, like a miserly or poor one or one with some kind of issue like a physical problem.
