Let's take Fictional Felicia.

Her Dad was VERY caring and gave her all but he also had weak moments and crossed sexual boundaries. Fictional Felicia is very well accustomed to her Dad's INCONJUNCT energy but it's an energy she knows how to navigate based on HIS DISLIKES AND LIKES-so she has adapted to this inconjunct energy. Her brain thinks that's what's good for her. Based on what Fictional Felicia's brain thinks is good for her, she attracts and dates the same INCONJUNCT people with the same result: they feel familiar and comfortable but in the end they keep breaking her heart, just like her dad.

How does Fictional Felicia find her "true self" and the partners that matter more?

Poor Fictional Felicia, she's got to break the cycle.
Either with a good Dr. or a good Karmic Astrologer.

I don't know if a single inconjunct aspect is strong enough Karma-wise to pull her in and hold her, usually it's a nasty configuration, and since we're talking about interfering sexually with a child/girl I'd look at Pluto/Mars/Venus.

Remove the child/girl, charge the Father.
This can sometimes be enough to start the ball rolling and she can see for herself that this behavior is wrong and unacceptable, and hopefully take it a step further and vow not to let it happen to her own children. Sometimes the instinct to protect another is stronger than the instinct to protect our selves.
Look at Chiron and the second house.

This is similar to being beat.
If the Father beats the Mother and/or children, then you grow up thinking it's acceptable and "normal"
You are likely to put up with it in your own marriage.
