Often, if the person I'm talking to doesn't probe what I say, they wont understand me at all and dismiss me.

When I took English classes, I was very good at poetry, but took way too much time to write essays. Even this whole question took me a lot of time because it was originally confusing.

Does anybody else do this??

Neptune in sag, 3rd.

Too much thinking that it clouds my thinking and communication.
Trying to figure out what are the main points. Explain why I arrived at such thought or give a back story first.
What needs to be said and what can be left out. How does it need to be said.

These are all things that simultaneously flow through my mind pretty much every time I communicate in any way, to anyone.

Yes!! I feel like I don't know why I'm even trying to communicate sometimes. Always trying to leave things out. So much thought has to be put or I can offend / confuse.

I don't like main points. I'll talk about anything and express myself clearly, but it won't have anything to do with the original topic/question. Lots of tangents/spin offs, I can go on and on and on and it's cool if the other people do that as well. If not, I just seem like a scatterbrain..

I also just wrote a bunch of sentences that didn't need to be written and erased them in this answer. Happens every time.

Saaaame thing.
Sometimes I really do quit communication or simply don't even start.
Some topics here on LL I just don't even bother making a post in, though I'd like to, but I foresee the disaster ahead and tell myself, "screw it".
I erase and edit stuff nearly every post.
I get afraid of stepping on toes too because many times it's unintentional. Especially about signs. "xxxx are dull" and every person with even a minor xxxx placement has to come rushing in all offended.

I too like writing poetry but when it comes to structured forms of writing like essays, I truly dislike it. My mercury square pluto makes me read the same lines over and over again. Would always be envious of people who could finish an essay question quickly, meanwhile I'm still on sentence 5 I like writing about things that interest me or let my imagination go while. Music and the right environment is a huge help.

The only things going on with my Mercury....

He has Sag Neptune in 3rd. It conjuncts his N.Node, so it's part of his life lesson. He also has Mercury conj. Uranus 3°, so I think that plays a key part, too. It's like his thoughts just want to burst out of his mind. So, sometimes he gets ahead of himself and just starts talking before he's fully formed his thought. He gets ahead of himself. That's sounds a lot like Mercury-Uranus.

Same here bout the directions.. Cannot give or take them. I can't listen to boring things to save my life. And you should see me trying to help someone parallel park. I'm standing out there like 'Yeah, just... yeah. Go more like this.. just.. like..'

But I don't have problems with intuitive people. It's when I have to spell things out that communicating doesn't work. I expect people to "feel" what I'm saying. lol feel me?
