Both my X husband and I had this last year. He had it a few month before. It basically broke up our marriage and put my life in total limbo! I'm still working through it as it basically rolled back and forth over my ASC for months. IP: Logged |

Saturn is a paradox, to me. He wants things to last so he breaks them and creates distance between them?! He lessons/lessens.
I'm not sure what or how he'll judge my progress. When he makes this opposition, he will conjunct Jupiter. I'll fight to keep my optimism. The peculiar thing I've come to notice about Saturn over the last 2 years, when I began taking into account the Solar return chart. And it's no lie, he really puts you to task, on the topics of his house placement for that year.
So much so that I tend to neglect other areas because, it's too much. Then bam, the next year, he calls you out on those subjects you've let slide... This year he sits happily upon the Solar return Ascendant (Scorpio!), and it's true, I have neglected the eye doctor the dentist, i.e. my body.
So the transiting opposition atop of the Solar return placement, has put me on my mettle. Anymore considerations/experiences are much appreciated. IP: Logged |

Yes. He passed over the asc then went retro back over it again then direct and over it again! (the little **** )   , which is opp my natal Saturn which is conj my dsc. But I agree with you that it takes you to task. My x and I met when it was conjuncting our natal Saturns. That is when we started building our relationship. 14ish years later it ended probably because it was so easy we started to neglect it thinking it didn't need any work. I mean it was a very easy relationship. So, we probably didn't build deep foundations. We are still good friends. But we just ended up as friends. Saturn is in my first now and I know I have to rebuild myself now. I have to make a life for me instead of a life for "we" in this chapter of my life. It's certainly not easy as I have Sun conj Neptune and I'm not exactly sure which direction I want to go. I just know I have to make a conscious choice and not just go with the flow like I usually do. Even with the bad stuff, I don't think Saturn is all bad. This really is for the best in the long run.
