I'd like to think it's intellect... being able to see patterns and undercurrents others can't (or won't). My ideas: Mercury dominance Strong Scorpio influence Mars or Uranus in H3 Sun aspecting Uranus in some way I might add, as a conspiracy theorist, many have been proven true (e.g. Operation Northwoods). OOOH. This is an interesting topic! If you don't mind me asking, what sort of conspiracy theories are you into and which popular ones do you think are true? IP: Logged |

There are many categories of conspiracy theories; there are conspiracy theories that the masses don't belief in simply bec the media is not reporting it but if you research it on your own you will see there is evidence that supports such theories but since our media is in bed with the government and they report for the government in essence and investigative journalism is dead we dont hear of such theories in the media or when we do is to put them down out of fear that such theories are getting too much momentum. and there are conspiracy theories that are bogus but some people belief them so aspects will differ depending on the category I would think as been able to discern between one or the other is important. My husband I feel discerns and he has mercury in scorpio opposite pallas.

Ohhhh man we could be here for a while! #1 - Chemtrails. It is documented as geoengineering or weather manipulation. The air force has been doing it since the 70s (on the record). And it was apparently featured in an elementary school science textbook as "sun screen" to battle global warming (this was floating around the internet for a while now I can't find it). However, I think there's more to it. I think it's government testing. Like this: http://www.democracynow.org/2005/7/13/how_the_u_s_government_exposed Or this: http://www.businessinsider.com/army-sprayed-st-louis-with-toxic-dust-2012-10 Or any of these listed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_States #2 - Global warming. Google: C(Lie)mate Video Series (it's on YouTube). While climate change happens, and environmental pollution is clearly destructive, I don't believe humans are causing what was called "global warming" and in fact, the data right now seems to be pointing towards a cooling trend. I think there is a lot of noise to make us think we need to be saved. Maybe it's all hyped up to generate more acceptance for Monsanto and their destructive patents? Maybe Monsanto is a small piece of the equation. Monsanto may even be involved in my first point (chemtrails). They may be testing their seed to see how much of it will grow with less sun. ??? I could analyze this stuff for hours. *lol* IP: Logged |

Sagittarius Ascendant, Uranus in Scorpio ~ 1 deg orb from 12th house cusp, Jupiter/Black Moon Lilith in 8th house Cancer, Mars/Pluto/Venus stellium in Libra 10th house (Venus about 3-4 deg orb from 11th house cusp). Also Sun (on Regulus)/Saturn in Virgo 9th house square my Asc/Desc line, may or may not have bearing on this. Some conspiracy theories make for interesting reading IMHO, and a few have had an influence on some of my storyline ideas I hope to publish someday. Admittedly there are a few theories that are a bit off even for my tastes. IP: Logged |

My GUESS would be that Scorpio likes to solve mysteries and that could lead into conspiracy theories. My mom shared all sorts of conspiracy theories about the death of Marilyn Monroe, none of which (of those she shared) were outside the realm of possibility (at least if certain asserted facts were true). But I can't see her believing anything far fetched like the Illuminati or that everything was part of a computer program. Come to think of it back during the brief hysteria (at least it was like a hysteria in Texas, it was actually reported on the mainstream news) over the Pepsi sumbliminals she and Dad bought a case (when normally they didn't buy that) for a laugh and then Dad lined the cans up to try to get me (then 7) to see the subliminals and then finally had me read it. I was just confused when I finally said "sex" and both Scorp Mom and Sag Dad went into hysterics (though they had been drinking). I knew a Capricorn with strong Aquarian elements in his chart that was obsessed with conspiracy theories...some of them were pretty wild, but I think even he'd have scoffed at the Illuminati or one of those wild theories like say the UN staging a fake alien invasion to take over the world with martial law in one fell swoop. I knew 2 Libras born in the mid-October who were convinced that there was an organized attempt at patriarchal oppression. I'm not talking some psychological/social sense, but rather a conscious, organized conspiracy where males were pretty much a fungible group that used government and media similar to the Illuminati and biologically driven to destroy women and inflict pain on them wherever possible, and included the entire medical profession and so on which openly discussed plans on how to carry out their evil deeds and get away with it. One had a lot of Scorpio in her chart (and switched between being a sweet, charming, logical Libra to being an insane paranoiac, and I could usually tell which mode she was in just by looking at her or even her voice on the phone and it's possible she had an undiagnosed chemical imbalance in her brain) and the other also had a Scorpio stellium, and a Cancer one as well, and I believe had 2 placements in Taurus, and at least one Sag placement. At least one Libra had a Scorpio mercury (and I think both did) which would drive them to want to solve mysteries (as it did my mom). And then you have those who just make up theories because they like to see how many believe them (I guess fabricating everyday gossip is too boring for them, they have to think bigger) and/or how many books they can sell. I won't count them anymore than I count the schizophrenic and psychotic. But I can say I have fun with conspiracy theories, I just don't try to pass them off as real. For an example of one I came up with for fun you can see my explanation (May 7) of Obama's secret life and mission from Mars here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/227013-2.html Though just to be clear I'm talking strictly of over the top conspiracy theories. But once I briefly reconsidered my views on over the top mind control that I had rejected though after a few minutes I thought of a much more rational explanation that made more sense for what I'd just experienced, but those few minutes were intense for me. I'd be curious of the astrology of various moral panics that grip nations, particularly when they come off as over the top as many Illuminati Controls the World theories. For example, the Satanic Panics that took off in the 1980s and spread around much of the world. Sure, many social forces are pointed at by sociologists today to explain how it happened and yet a lot of times such a panic never arises when those same forces are present (technically we should be in another satanic panic now), so maybe astrology can help explain it as well. The thing about the Satanic Panics is that a great many people were believing (or exploiting the belief of the public for political and/or monetary gain) that a global conspiracy existed that was pretty much identical to the belief in the Illuminati. But these people weren't fringe, it was everyday people and even the police were conducting public seminars on the menace. Even Al Gore got into it somewhat (something that has ruined his credibility for me to this day, though I don't know if he actually believed or just catering to the stupid vote). I caught the tail end of that Satanic Panic that lingered in Texas through the 90s. The most bizarre was a high school counselor who thought I'd come back from the streets (having spent several months as a runaway) because I was now part of a cult and had to find a blonde virgin for my cult to sacrifice or my own life was forfeit. I asked where she got such mind boggling idiotic ideas and she said a newsletter told her all about my supposed kind. It's surreal to think that a few years earlier a great many counselors thought that way (I read of entire schools shut down in the panic in The Satanic Panic). What's the spark that spreads the hysteria so that it becomes mainstream? IP: Logged |

Guilty.Exhibit A: An MP3 library with enough Coast to Coast AM downloads to run 24/7 for the entire month of February. http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y518/Brontex108/Screenshot-07252014-090117AM_zpsf866d9bf.png My book library isn't much better. Most of the people I know who are into them AND open about it are Aquas or have heavy Aqua influence. I've got an Aqua Moon and 2nd decan (which is supposedly Aqua aligned/flavored) Libra Sun. Mercury in Scorpio so maybe there's something there too. IP: Logged |

You're so cute...thanks but no, my days of trying to persuade people of anything are about 95% over. The 5% is just what I have to go through when I find myself suddenly in conversations where I can't resist saying something "crazy" (read: true) and then people want to cut my head open and see what exactly is going on in there. I have to defend myself at that point. Some of the things I am most suspicious about are practically sacrosanct and would get people seriously p*ssed off if I mentioned them...I have nothing to gain by arguing. I just browse the i-nets and know that others are thinking the same way.

I thought it was just the huge popularity of games like this one, setting off a frenzy: Or maybe...maybe that was just big in my own circle... j/k I once watched a YouTube video about the astrology of 9-11, Pluto in Sag opposing something in Gemini (*Twin Towers*) but I think the narration was done by a robot if I remember right...and I'm so tired of robots. Robots are taking over you know. !!!!

I understand. I've had a handful of arguments with hubby over a few topics and we are overall very peaceful as a couple (we just don't argue). So when it comes to my conspiracies, I've settled with the idea that I just don't talk to hubby about it. He doesn't get it. Thankfully, he has a bit of an open mind so we can find a common ground on a couple of topics. But let's take chemtrails as an example... he swears up & down that those are just normal contrails. No matter how many times I show him the very obvious difference (in person, in photos, in videos), he argues with me and tries to prove why it's just a contrail and I find it so absurd that I am the one that gets belligerent so we just have to drop it. And chemtrails is a small topic, IMO. The bigger stuff would really spark drama. So I get it. And I wonder where else on the interwebs I've seen you. IP: Logged |

I'm a huge conspiracy theorist, and it seems that i got lots of markers too, so i'll throw myself in this )) I've read/seen everything, ended in studying the annunaki gene, its history and how it managed to rule us all like this. (I'm not crazy, i promise.) Funny thing, my mom had a relationship with a mason once but he would never tell her what he was doing in his meetings with others. Worked in the US army in Kabul. Anyways! Sag Sun, Capricorn ASC my dominant planet is Uranus ruler of Aquarius right in my 1st, mercury on my MC which is scorpio, conjunct MC mercury sextile my ASC jupiter in aries in 3th house plus Pluto conjunct Sun in sag... but that's just my - WAKE UP PEOPLE !! flag i sometimes use
