Ami Anne mentioned it in another topic and now I am curious. First, what defines "void"? Does that mean low or none? Example: I only have Mars and Pluto in Libra (Air). Would that make me Air void? I also only have Venus and Uranus in Scorpio (Water). So am I Water void? Or, because I do have some planets there, am I not void? Curious. Thanks! IP: Logged |

im curious as well i have zero personal planets in earth i just have the generational uranus conjunct neptune in capricorn but other than that no earth i think i have like 13% percent earth in my pullen chart, i found this link about voids read them and see if they fit you i know my earth void description was correct i am very poor with organization lmao http://mychristianpsychic.com/journal/elemental-voids/ heres another one http://www.astro.com/mtp/mtpt91_e.htm Elements: Lack of planets in earth signs: Powerful emphasis on/obsession with body, sexuality, food, money, e.g. the businessman, naturalist, body-builder Lack of planets in air signs: Powerful emphasis on/obsession with education, learning, writing, communicating, e.g. the writer, philosopher, actor Lack of planets in water signs: Powerful emphasis on/obsession with feelings, relationships, e.g. the musician, psychotherapist Lack of planets in fire signs: Powerful emphasis on/obsession with meaning, faith, adventure, risk-taking, e.g. the entrepreneur, the explorer, the preacher IP: Logged |

Nope.A void means zero planets in an element. I'm a Fire void. Basically I lack energy, vitality, passion and drive, blah blah. IP: Logged |

If these are coincidences, these are very interesting coincidences. I write for a living. I am also self-employed and very reputation driven (the business man thing). I was formerly a body builder (into it for 2 years) and I do make what I eat a very high priority in life (I'm a vegan and GF because of Celiac). Very interesting. IP: Logged |

A void requires no planets in the sign at all. If you have one planet in the sign, then that would be a singleton.I'm wondering how it works if there are no planets, but there is an angle there. My husband has NO planets at all in Earth. Zero. He does have a Virgo Ascendant, though. So, does that void his void? One thing I know for sure is that it makes him act like a Super-Virgo rising.

I do too, but I don't relate to how people describe it. Most people assume when meeting me that I am a Fire sign. IP: Logged |

From what I've seen the angle actually stands out, a bit like a singleton.Alas, I have no angles in Fire either (save for the DSC), so I'm the absolute anti-Fire. IP: Logged |

That's interesting. Fire houses can compensate, as well as a prominent Mars and/or Jupiter. Also, lack of Saturn afflictions. IP: Logged |

Good insight- that would explain it! My mars is very aspected and Jupiter is the handle on my bucket shaped chart. Even with Saturn chart ruler, no afflictions. IP: Logged |

My friend is earth void. He has 0 earth placements except the NN, but Capricorn is his second dominant sign in his pullen chart delineation. He has a stellium in his 10th house, too. He doesn't act earth void at all. I guess this cancels it out? IP: Logged |

My husband's chart is the same way. Although he has no planets in Earth, I think his Virgo AC and 2nd house stellium offset that. He has Sun, Venus, Mars, Mercury, and Uranus in his 2nd house, so he acts like a Taurus more than anything.
