I have this HUGE crush on a guy who has sun, moon, mercury & venus all in Aries. He also has a mars in Gemini. Is this a recipe for disaster? I'm super sensitive with a Taurus sun and Cancer moon.. but I also have venus in Aries and mars in Gemini. It's like I'm scared to let myself like him.. I know he likes me too. But with THAT much aries, plus the gemini mars, I feel like he will be gone in 60 seconds

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Also, if they aspect Saturn,Neptune - their "power" will be diluted a lot.

Do you find that Arian people tend to be very changeable depending on which house Aries placements are in? They become super diluted if it's not in a Fire house! At least that's my experience.

Yes,

If the planets are in the 12th house, 7th house or 6th house, for instance, they take on a whole new flavour.

Sun in Aries and 6th house will come across shy and reserved. They will also be very self-conscious.

Sun in Aries and 7th house may come across as someone who likes to "please". They want partnerships and so,they will curb their "me first" impulse in order to accommodate others.

Or they may attract a boisterous partner(Sun)in order to project these qualities to them.

Sun in Aries and 12th will have trouble expressing themselves openly. They tend to "feel" a lot of stuff and outward expression doesn't come easy.

I've often noticed that, despite their Aries placement, there is a difficulty in expressing this Mars nature. They may shy away from it, suppress it or project in on to others thus becoming victims of bullying, violence or even sexual abuse.

Hmm this is all true! The ONLY really Arian human I've met had a Leo Moon. He was extremely fiery and confident. A go-getter. The rest have just been meak and kinda insecure. Which makes me believe that Mars on an angle is a powerhouse-"aries"...

Any planet on an angle seems to "exemplify" the qualities associated with it. Barring that there is no unaspected planet, as pointed out in another thread, as this planet can also dominate.

Saturn on an angle may make someone appear very "stoic", "serious" and "Capricorn-like"

Venus on an angle may make someone romantic, affectionate, hedonistic and lavish spender. The nature may seem like a cross between Libra/Taurus.

Neptune on an angle may make even the most harsh Scorpio appear like they could use a hug. Neptune adds that enigmatic, gentle "lost" quality to a person. They appear very "Pisces" in nature.

My mom has Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Aries. Two exactly on her DSC and the other within 1 degree. (Mercury/Moon in 7 and Sun in 6th)

She was married to my father (a Sag) for 12 years and had three children. My dad was an alcoholic and met another woman at the AA meetings. They divorced.
My mom dated 3 men TOPS in 35 years now. She rather remain single. It wasn't apparent to me until the last year or so that my mom actually NEVER let go of my dad.

She projected her love and devotion to us. If my mom only had $10 and I asked her for it, she'd give it to me. She always wanted US to have a better relationship with our father (and even our "stepmom") despite my mom actually remaining upset about that whole thing all of these years.
She turned to us and focused her energy on us.

Uh!!! THANK YOU so much for saying this. All this time I read Aries horoscopes / monthly forecasts and I'm like "What? None of this is happening to me or sounds like me." I've been trying to figure out why but as Aries23 pointed out too - I have stellium in the 11th house, 12th house (ish.) and 7th house.

Carry on…

To answer your question as a fellow Venus in Aries and Gemini Mars…it really depends on aspects. Find his aspects and post them and I can give you a better idea of his behavior.

For now, he wants someone hot and smart, do you fit that? Be funny too. And versatile.

I would mirror some of what others said, I think it depends on the houses the Aries energy is in, another big key I would also add is how much water energy he has (houses included). I have the same 4 aries placements except for a pisces sun though have midheaven in aries as well, I not one to stray or move on quickly as I'm sure you've read about aries. We do need stimulation, variety and excitement to a degree but also water energy keeps one engaged with you regardless to a point. I also have fire rising and saturn in fire but due to water sun and water mars I don't stray or move on in 30 seconds unless its just not a good fit to begin with. Aries venus on aries venus though..fun times.

i work with a girl who has sun/moon/venus/mars all aries and a rising in pisces. that pisces hides all the aries. it's amazing because she completely comes across pisces. she married a guy who is cancer sun/moon/venus. go figure. they have been married 10 years. not everyone cheats, not everyone strays, it's individual.

Meh every Aries and Cancer just needs to understand each other. Aries will fall in love with Cancer, especially because the guys tend to act overly macho and Cancer girls are feminine. Plus two cardinal signs - holla

My cousin has a lot going on in Cancer and she is touchy and kinda crazy. I cannot picture her being able to handle Aries. She is with a Virgo and has a Libra daughter. Her sis-in-law is Aries and they don't get along that great.

I think they would drive each other crazy but the only ones I have relationships with are Geminis and they bother me big time and I them so, if you like some tension in your relationships and are drawn to that, yep, could work. Cancer is gonna have to deal with stuff they don't like and they could feel like there isn't enough stability.

You have to look at the chart as a whole. I know a guy who has a tight stellium, Sun, Venus and Mercury all in Aries, and yet he is NOTHING like Aries. He has Libra ASC and that puts his stellium in 7th house, in addition Saturn and Neptune both make almost exact squares to all of these three planets. Besides he's got a Pisces Moon in 5h house - a hopeless romantic. He is an insecure, gentle dreamer, who would do anything for his damsel in distress, he once left school to live with his partner that supported him for couple of years, and then left him for another guy, probably because he was so obliging and so fully dependent, he became a burden, and not an exciting challenge anymore. He is mostly introvert, quiet, yet likes to hang out, pleasing people. He has a savior complex, but I bet he wouldn't mind a manipulative woman to wrap him around her finger. He lives in his own little dream world, no ambitions whatsoever. He also looks very fragile, very skinny and has bad luck with his health. His favorite activity is sleeping. As you can see, as far from Aries it can be the only Aries traits that I can see in him are his childishness and child like curiousity, but that again could be the influence of Mars in Gemini, his stellium's dispositor. When you see so much planets in the same sign in a chart, you have to look at their dispositor's sign, it can drastically change the personality... With this guy, I instantly noticed air in him, he is very talkative eye to eye, curious and smart. I knew there was some mayor Gemini influence right away. So your guy is probably also very Gemini like, very playful and inquisitive.

I just want to add, and I've said it many times, that I believe Aries and Cancer is a fab combo if they are mature! Perhaps one of the best. Don't ask me why I think this, I just do, down to my core.

It's like two little children with cherub faces, sitting by the ocean eating icecream. Dangling legs. How can that be wrong?

Can you please explain the dispositor concept? I have searched on other websites and have not been able to find much info on it. I have some similar aspects as the guy you mentioned.

From Webster dictionary: "The planet which is lord of the sign where another planet is."

For example if you have Mars in Leo, the planet which is the dispositor of your Mars is the Sun, because the sign Leo is ruled by Sun. Therefore you must also look at your Sun when studying your Mars - it's sign, aspects it makes and the house it lies in. The dispositor is like a shadow lying behind the planet, but it never overshadows it. But it can significantly change the tone of the planet. If we continue with our example, let's say your Sun is in Capricorn, it would indicate that your Mars would have some Capricorn traits or would "capricornize" your Leo Mars, make it less in your face, more serious and even more dignified, dedicated. etc.
Some more examples:
I have a Sag Moon, so the dispositor of my Moon is Jupiter, which is in Leo, making it an even more fiery Moon. Because my Moon is badly aspected I can also look for the dispositor - Jupiter and if it makes any good - release aspects, can it help my Moon in any way. But the dispositors are always very subtle.
It's better to use them only when all other characteristics of the chart are crystal clear, or you'll get confused.

Though the dispositors that are in my opinion almost necessary to consider are: the dispositor of the Ascendant alas chart ruler and the Sun's dispositor.
I've read somewhere that with time, age, a person is becoming more and more like the sign of the chart ruler, even looking more like it. An interesting thought, don't know why it would graduate with time... Do you notice that with yourself?
For instance, you have a Pisces Ascendant, but your Neptune is in Sagittarius, you would gradually start feeling the Sagittarius influence on your whole personality, maybe in later years?

Love it! Totally makes sense actually the Aries guy I was writing about had a crush on a Cancer girl, I think they would be lovely together.

What if my Cancer Venus is conjunct my Ascendant (an angle), but is also in exact conjunction with my Cancer Mars; that also happens to be conjunct my Cancer Rising?

Oh woow, the Pisces dominates all the Aries! Go figure! Do you recall which degree her Pisces Rising is at? That way I can determine which one of the 3 Decans it falls in.

The Ven/Mars is always interesting to observe. On one hand, one can be sensitive, creative and artistic. Typically aesthetically inclined(Ven).

But then the Mars energy will add an "edge" to the above. So the individual will not look like a wilting flower but be very contradictory.

Since Ven/Mars energy are in juxtaposition, their mixed nature can seem like two opposing natures mixing together.

This is the boxer (Mars) who wears fashionable attire to the ring(Ven).

The girl wearing 6 inch heels and all dolled up (Ven)opening the bonnet of a car and fixing the radiator (Mars).

The girl(Ven) preferring to keep their hair short/tied back "fuss" free(Mars).

The boy(Mars) preferring to grow their hair long and tie in in a bun (Ven).

It gives a certain kind of androgyny and "double take ". This because of the seeming "incompatibility" of the whole picture.

In both sexes who have this mix, there are often rumours about their sexual orientation. Due in part because Venus(in men) tends to give a softened approach to the personality or a delicacy that others associate with women. And Mars(in women) can made them seem more "butch".

Sometimes it doesn't even have to be on the angles. It could be the Sun/Moon midpoint.

David Beckham is male(Mars). But has Ven on his Sun/Moon midpoint. He might as well have single-handedly invented the term "meterosexual". Gay rumours were rife about him in the 90's and early 2000's.

Christiano Ronaldo may have Ven/Mars conj in "macho" Mars ruled Aries. But you can still see the Venus concern with aesthetics come through. He used to dress suggestively early in his career (fanning rumours about his sexual orientation). But now he is not so risque. Yet the rumours persist.☝🏿

Megan Fox is Female (Ven). But notice that her Mars conjuncts her Asc. So she comes across more "edgy" and "butch". Not the "wilting flower" by any stretch of the imagination.

Lucy Lawless us female (Ven). But notice that her Mars is in the 1st house. So she is a lot more martial and athletic as a result.

Contemporary sex symbols (of both genders) often have a mix of Ven/Mars prominent in the chart.

Men
Chris Hemsworth(Ven/Mars midpoint=Sun)

Chris Evans (Ven/Mars midpoint =Sun)

Brad Pitt(Ven/Mars parallel to Sun)

Jason Momoa(Mars) has Ven/Sun conj.

Women
Halle Berry (Ven/Mars conj on the Ic)

Pamela Anderson (Ven/Mars=Asc)

Scarlet Johansson(Ven)has Sun parallel Mars

Monica Bellucci(Ven) has Mars on the angle(7th house).

It seems we find this male/female energy mix attractive.
