What placements do you think cause this..For example. I have mood swings MONTHLY. I have diagnosed myself with PMDD a very long time ago; premenstrual dismorphic disorder. Monthly some months worst than others a few days and sometimes up to a week before my period I get depressed and nothing makes sense, during that time I feel like a prisoner, hopeless, wondering what the hell is this all about, and I find myself questioning EVERYTHING about my life and what I am doing and were I am at. It really sucks, I even told my dad once that I would like to get rid of my reproductive organs so I dont have to deal with this roller coaster monthly bc the rest of the month my jupiter and sag keep me going fine. It turns out that doing such a surgery would be terrible for my health so not an option. I just realized today that the reason why I go through this is because of My mercury which is retro and rules my 7th, 10th and sun and it opposes my moon; hence why I question everything monthly. What do you struggle with and what placements and aspects you think cause it. IP: Logged |

LOL haha Well you seem to have good instincts..so keep them coming. ________________ I do have a mutable tsquare involving my moon and my moon is water and ruled by neptune......... I absorb my environment, idealism at odds with realism (moon opposite sun in virgo and squares neptune). Neptune is my strongest planet. It gives you this high and crash. Like neptune allows you to transcend by listening to music to another dimension; at least that is how it feels like with head phones on LOL but then once back to the mundane reality neptune does not deal well with it... I do maintain a positive attitude most of the month is just those two days to a week before that time of the month that I feel bad and It feels to me like I feel like this all the time at the moment but the I figure out that I am feeling this way bc of hormones and try to disconnect from the thoughts and emotions I am feeling. The moon is connected to women's cycle. IP: Logged |

I also have PMDD and know the hell you go through, so I empathize. I can imagine an afflicted Moon, an afflicted planet in Cancer, and possibly Venus in Scorpio could create this problem. I have 2 Venus in Scorpio relatives, and I am Venus in Scorpio, and we all have issues with our reproductive system. Moon-Pluto is also a huge red flag. IP: Logged |

My moon is involved in two tsquares if you count mercury square neptune by 9 orbs separating so there you go. I dont know if that makes it afflicted but its receiving a lot of heat. If you attribute your PMDD to venus in scorpio; how is your venus doing? does it receive both squares and oppositions like my moon does? IP: Logged |

Yes. I've had issues since I started at age 12 (so nearly 24 years of this hell). I have Venus is Scorpio. I started crying yesterday because my husband wanted to go to bed and didn't want me to make him dinner. WTF?!! Who the heck cries over that? Oh hello aunt flo... nice to see you. Then I thought, "that explains it." I am irregular, and my bleeding patterns are way longer than average (8-14 days). I was prescribed Percocet as a teenager for the pain because it was that bad. After having kids, the pain eased up, but there are times I am still doubled over in bed. But worst of all are the mood swings. I will say things out loud like, "I want to poke your eyes out!!" or "f*** you" over nothing at all... it's so embarrassing. IP: Logged |

Do you have mars in cancer? That's a pretty depressing and moody placement (I have it) IP: Logged |

Scorpio does rule reproductive organs and the moon the menstrual cycle and my moon rules the 8th and opposes mercury retro and is part of two tsquares...So sweet-scorpion very good input, I had not made that connection....

Thank you. Yes, the Moon does rule the menstrual cycle in a female, and because it rules the 8th in your case and opposes Mercury I can see some issues with logic vs. emotion, trying to mentally fight emotional outbursts that are too strong to avoid. 8H matters can never be avoided or suppressed in the end; Scorpio is too strong. Moon-Neptune even positively aspected can lead to moodiness/sensitivity, in my opinion. I have Moon trine Neptune as the 2nd tightest aspect in my natal chart. My Venus is disposited by 12H Pluto... it is conjunct Jupiter and my NN. It is not traditionally afflicted, no. However, I feel that this placement in and of itself is an affliction, since Venus in in detriment in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

My virgo sun opposites my pisces moon, and my pisces moon is afflicted by opposing mars as well and square uranus… I also got cancer rising, scorpio venus and cancer jupiter Does anyone know in here if my Jupiter is afflicted? I have cancer jupiter in 12th house, opposite saturn, neptune and uranus, trine venus and pluto, square mercury and conjunction ascendant (but wide orb 9 degree) I have always had mood swings, it was worse when I was younger, but it's mostly my surroundings that affects me or my own thoughts… I need a lot of alone time to absorb everything, but too much alone time makes me depressed also IP: Logged |

I've been suffering from cyclothymia (a milder, more rapid form of bipolar disorder) for a long time now. I'm also struggling to recover from an eating disorder and post traumatic stress disorder.
I have Sun in Cancer (11th house), Moon in Libra (2nd house), Mars in Libra (2nd house), Mercury in Leo (12th house), Venus in Leo (12th house), and a Virgo Ascendant. Cancers are usually really moody people in general. I have Pluto opposite MC, Pluto Sq Ac, Mercury Opp Uranus, Uranus Tr Midheaven, and Mars Tr Uranus. I would look at Uranus, Pluto, and Moon for this sort of thing. Uranus is really unpredictable, Moon expresses our feelings, emotions, and friendships, and Pluto is dark energy. IP: Logged |

Amelia, try to drink diluted Hypericum perforatum (St John's wort) tea during those days, but not more than three in a row and tell me if there is any improvement. Astrologically, I think it must be related to your 8th house or 8th house ruler, in this case.------------------

Don't you forget about Saturn/Neptune on the angle or Saturn/Neptune aspects to Asc/Sun/Moon/Mercury by square, conjunction or opposition.I attribute my black moods and tendency to be a worry wart to my Saturn opposing my Asc.Saturn sits on the 7th house angle At times I feel isolated from others and lonely. At other times, I may be with others, but still not able to escape the feeling that I am not "close" to anyone. The mood swings can come when I feel like I am being taken for granted, being ignored by the group, being cast out from others, being made fun of etc. I can be very insecure and it hurts deeply. Sometimes I can get angry or even cry It is plausible that Saturn opposite Asc people may struggle with social interaction. People often take my reserved nature for granted. But when i am not there, they say how much they "missed" me etc. That's why I prefer one-on-one interaction and keep to my own company. It gets lonely at times as I have very few people that I can talk to about these things, but i can't deal with groups and, actually, I avoid cliques consistently.

Yeah that is a good idea for me. I notice when I take consistently royal jelly in fluid form daily that I get at a korean supermarket it helps balance my hormones so my symptoms are much more under control...I noticed that a few months ago but then I ran out and did not buy more; I just bought more this weekend and will give that a shot again and see if I notice a difference again. I have resumed taking 5htp daily too. I just need to restock when I run out of things and not discontinue. I will try your suggestion too, thanks.
