I don't hide myself, and it's pretty difficult for me to fake a personality, and I absolutely cannot tolerate "posers." I don't have many friends because I'm just too difficult with other people because I point out their personality's "flaws" as I see them and am over analytical and cold and opinionated.Is anyone else like this? What placements do you think could cause this in someone? IP: Logged |

The "truth" is not absolute, its relative.I broke off a friendship with an Aquarius Sun/Virgo Moon who also felt the need to "tell the truth,the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So help them self-righteousness!" People walk away from him often and I recently headed for the door after a very unpleasant visit at his place. There is nothing wrong with "keeping it real" and "being your true self" etc. But being your "true self" and being "cold" to others is not genuine authenticity.Its being a ***. Being true to yourself also has the responsibility of letting others find their own way home. What houses are your positions in? IP: Logged |

I like the truth as much as anyone but, there's a time for it. If they ask or if it's truly necessary. T – Is it true? H-Is it Helpful? Will sharing this information be helpful to the other person? I- Is it Inspiring? That is clear enough. N- Is it Necessary? Do we really need to spread this information? K– Is it Kind? Pretty clear there. --------------- I want the truth but it's the delivery. Sometimes I'm a different person here, I don't know any of you. lol But I want my friends to tell me the truth in such a way that they can tell me to go to hell and I'll look forward to the trip!  I also like this quote, "people who are brutally honest get more from the brutality than from the honesty" I have a Virgo friend who is soooooooo messy. He's lazy in my view as he just plays video games for 10-12 hours a day. His car needs repair and he's looking for the cheapest, easiest, temporary fix that he can, ignoring my advice.
I never tell him though. I don't live in the mess, he does. He likes the games so if that's how he wants to spend his life... So be it. Sucks sometimes as he doesn't put them down even when I come over.
And it's not my car. I gave him my advice... Good enough. If he asks, I'll tell him but not in such a way as to make him feel insulted, in a way to make him think I care. Virgo dominant, Leo sun, Gemini moon, Libra rising
