For me, my top 3 would look like this:

1. Venus - because it's unaspected, singleton (only Earth), in domicile (Taurus) and angular (conj IC). They say unaspected planets run away with the chart/overpower everything. It's true.

2. Sadly, have to give the Cap rising its due importance. I have no other explanation for the fact that my VERY fiery nature does not shine on the outside, except for this pesky rising.

3. My see-saw configuration. I am always conflicted and I am always pondering between opposite view points. I do make up my mind pretty fast because I am still an Aries, but it has made it impossible for me to take any opinion or stance too personally, given that I can just as easily flip to 180 (I wasn't too good at debates because of this). Other than that, switching between sides has all sorts of unexpected, fun perks. Not exactly Jekyll/Hyde but keeps it interesting, to say the least.

My chart ruler is mercury. I am pretty mercurial too. Hard to pin down and I don't really settle on things easily. I tend to overthink and I'm just a nervous person.

This is what I have in my head. Venus is really up there too both in my head and in pullen. Venus is chart ruler. Idk... I really don't but this is where my instincts took me on this.

1 - MERCURY!!
Mercury just absolutely dominates my chart. I also have to include my Gemini Moon in the mix with this as Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and they square 2 degrees. (Mercury in Virgo, Moon in Gemini) Mercury also conjuncts Mars 3 degrees.
Mercury is on overdrive! It never stops and the investigative qualities are sometimes very difficult for even myself to deal with. Anything and everything gets thrown under the microscope to be analyzed and inspected. I try to recognize patterns, look for clues, etc. Even my own emotions fall into this. Once in a while I will find myself completely silent, lost in thought as I try to grasp what it is that I feel. I sense the feeling, but don't know what it is.
Moodiness is another problem. It takes me all but .02 seconds to flip a 180 on my mood.
The moon part also gives a very cleaver and wittiness. Creativity out the butt and to see me unrestricted as Barbie does is really something. I'm quite the clown.
Mars ads some twist to most enjoying playing detective with homicides and that sort of thing. Looking at actual homicide/suicide scenes.
Overall not a placement I'm all that fond of, even though it very strongly defines me. I am still in the learning process of trying to appreciate it. Which I do quite a bit... I'm making progress (with Barbies help. LOL )

2 - Pluto conjunct asc.
Another difficult one honestly. It probably accounts for some of the digging and trying to uncover things. Probably also plays into why I am so drawn to murder/suicide scenes and really wanting to solve them. (There's a unsolved case from 95 that's always stayed in my mind. I never hear anything about it, but it really bothers me that it's unsolved) I don't do so well in public either. LOL Just yesterday we were out shopping and Barbie can see this... look I get. It's almost like panic but with an irritated twist. Like I'm going to get shaky and sweaty, but don't quite. I get in a hurry and really just want to hit the door. At work, there is a nurses office... little office with a tiny little waiting room and hearing test box. For my two breaks I call Barbie but I always slip into that little waiting room with the lights out. I'm not sure that even she knows that I do that. LOL I sit in corners of places a lot or along the wall. I hate being in the middle out in the open. I don't want to be watched. I don't want my conversations to be heard. (Could be all that 12th too... IDK)

Thankfully, it tames down in close personal relationships (when I actually care / give a crap, in other words).

However, I have one bad trait that does carry over into my personal relationships and it is proving to be quite difficult to get rid of.

I just noticed this within the last year (and I am 36 soon), but I tend to interrupt people in conversation because in my head, what I have to say is WAY more important.

I know how obnoxious that is and how arrogant that sounds, so I am trying very hard to stop. I literally have to tell myself, "wait" because other people can't seem to finish their point fast enough. I don't want to seem like an uncaring buttface because I truly DO care about what people are saying... I just wish people could talk faster. I get the idea very quickly and I don't need elaborate explanation.

Why? Moon is exalted in Taurus, in it's house of Joy (the 3rd house) and conjunct my Nadir.

Neptune is conjunct my Ascendant and opposite my Sun.

2) Venus is my chart ruler and I am Venus dominant, who didn't see that one coming. I outeat everyone here when it comes to chocolate. My Venus is in Scorpio and it can be a blessing or curse at times. I know astrologers like to bad mouth it quite frequently but ya know what I loooove it and feel it very strongly. I'm the most loyal, compassionate and selfless person you'll ever meet. When pushed I'm the opposite, I give Tonya Harding and Jody Arias a good name. #dontmesswithbarbie

1) Mercury - It is very powerful in my chart because it's my chart ruler and it's in a domicile house and sign. I feel my Mercury very well. My mind is always on the go, always thinking, always devouring all kinds of knowledge that comes its way. I am very sociable because of it, too.

2) Leo Sun - Basically, I feel my Sun strongly. I really don't know why, but maybe because has the tightest aspect with Uranus in my chart. I feel this constant struggle to not conform and just stand out from the crowd while still getting all the attention I want. My fifth house is also fueled by Libra along with my Mars. As they say, air makes fire burn brighter especially when I have an air ascendant. Also, my chart ruler is in the house ruled by Leo. This adds up to the power of my Sun.

In no particular order;

1.The Moon in 3rd house. I have a western concentrated chart(most planets fall between my 5th to 9th house)and the Moon is the only "loner" planet on the eastern part.

Moon "pulls" a lot of the energy of the remaining house(10th to 4th). I am consumed with issues of Independence,self-sustenance and personal freedom.

2.Uranus in Sag in 8th house

This placements contributes strongly to my sexuality. I have also noticed that transits to this planet are very telling. It is also the ruler of my MC.

3.Mercury in 9th house

I think I've made this one quite clear to anyone who reads my posts. I can write an essay and then some

4. Venus and Saturn in 7th.

Cannot ever leave these two out. Venus in 7th has the "social" effect on me and Saturn comes and shuts it down or limits it.

This aspect is like throwing a party with the cut-off time being 10:00 pm.

Or sneaking out to a party, not enjoying yourself much whilst there-because you are worried and anxious that your parents will find your bed empty.

The next is my Saturn, neptune and uranus in 6th house who sits there in capricorn and is looking over at jupiter on the opposed side, and square my moon and the 3rd big influenced link in my chart which is my Sun conjunct Mars in virgo in 4th.

The Sun and Mars sits there and looks over on the opposite side at my Moon and laughs of anger and aggression, and squares the Uranus with some really strong aspects that speaks of willpower and drive. My Mercury is also close to those 2 fighters, but not enough to make a conjunction, but enough to form 2 very influential T-squares with jupiter and Moon, and neptune.

The 4th link to fulfill my difficult grand cross that is not a complete grand cross which makes it even worse, is my Jupiter in cancer. It sits there lonely in the 12th house and looks over at my 3 capricorn planets and squares my mercury. My jupiter has a hard time, cause it's too much cancer to touch my moon with a square which could have fulfilled my grand cross, on the other hand my Moon in pisces could have moved into Aries and would have made me a whole other human being, but no.

The 5th link is the only easy thing in my chart, it is my Venus which sits in the 5th house, right besides my Sun/Mars in 4th and The 3 cap-planets in 6th. It sits there and touch everyone nicely, but not my Sun/Mars unfortunately. If it only did that I think I could have made a great artist or writer if my venus touched my mercury, but nothing seems to fit and guide me in any direction.

So there is these 5 links that is unfulfilled, and screams at someone to come and solve it, that could be a Scorpio or Taurus because they sits in my 11th and 5th houses which is also my intercepted houses.

Please allow me to answer the qustion:

1. Sun (Exalted) conjunct Jupiter conjunct North Node. (jupiter expands the sun's energy and the north node adds more passion to it)

2. Unaspected Mars in 8th house. (unaspected raging planet in a raging house!)

3. Kite configuration in Water signs. (this is like the grand trine but stronger it involves 2 personal planets and 2 outer planets)

2&3 are interchangeable in importance rank between each other depending on the situation.

That is what I mean. Give Mr. Pullen a rest, but you can pick anything you want. If you have a massive stellium in the 9th, so be it. Or perhaps you think your Mercury sesquisquare Uranus has to do with your very progressive thinking.

And YES, there is such a thing as "most influential". Say a person has struggled all their life with a low self esteem issue, clearly their Sun-Saturn square (or other aspect/placement pointing to this) is a huge influential factor, because the effects of it boomerang and affect all areas of one's life.

I was a wee troubled last night, perhaps I didn't make myself clear enough.
