I have a severe case of wanderlust. A couple times a month, I just take my car or my bike or just go with my feet and go in whatever direction calls to me, nothing planned out. It's just something I NEED to do, or else I get restless. I also have a whole list of places that I am planning to visit!

I have SN and Ceres in my Pisces 9th House, Mars in Saggi + Moon/Jupiter/Uranus square my Sun... which makes me quite wanderlust-y I guess.

What about you?

Wanderlust? Moi? YES!

I think it's my Moon in Sagittarius.

For me, it's partly conditioning too because I was a military kid and later, a military wife. I lived all over the US and moved to Germany twice. While there, I visited Spain and France too.

When I came back to the states most recently, I lived in an RV going up & down the west coast, staying at a place for a few weeks or a few months at a time. I LOVED IT!! But, my kids got older and the need for space was inevitable, so I settled down. I have lived in my current place for 7 years and I am losing my mind!

When I first moved here, there was much to explore but after 7 years, there's not much mystery left. I find my road trips take me farther & farther away. Unfortunately, my work schedule and hubby's don't align much these days so we don't travel much.

Responsibility... money...bills... stupid capitalism.

Ahh, traveling from place to place... that sounds like heaven!

Yeah, I'm quite young and am not really planning to settle down anytime soon, at least not for another decade or so.

But I do know some people that had wanderlust, and chose to settle down and hated it... I think it's genetic. They all have strong Jupiterian signatures.

Omg, yes To the point where I will mentally, and almost physically suffer! I left my country when I was 18 and was gone for 17 years (USA). I have now moved back to Europe and have been here for almost 1 year but my feet are itching...badly. I don't feel alive unless there's a continuing stream of new people or new scenery. It's worse than having the worst flu!

I have Jupiter in 9H conj my MC and SN.

Sadly, my NN calls for me to stay put this time around and I am trying so hard but the SN keeps calling...like a fish far out at sea. Charlieee....CHARLIEEEE.....chaaaaaarliiiieee

And off I go.

Me, too. I grew up travelling but have been *stuck* for the past decade or so. It's horrible.

I'm supposedly Sag/Jupiter dominant.

Is Uranus transiting your 9H, too?

quote:
Every culture tries to explain life to itself. Long ago, those explanations were always religious. Each society was defined by its theology. (In our present multicultural age, we must stretch the word "religion" to include all the ways people make sense of their lives, including Materialism, Cynicism and Science.) Nowadays, we're all part of some culture or sub-culture, which means we've all been trained to look at life in certain ways. With Uranus transiting through the Ninth House, it's time to question those assumptions. We've reached a point in the unfolding of our souls where, in order to go forward, we must "leave the land of our birth." That may mean physically moving to a different part of the country, or perhaps it indicates a pivotal, life-changing experience in a foreign culture. The "journey" may not be so literal—it can be triggered by mind-stretching educational experiences or encounters with alien philosophies. In any case, the core issue is not Frequent Flyer miles. It's a change in the core belief-systems that underlie our sense of reality. Our thought-prison has grown too narrow for our souls.

I hope it IS a literal journey, I'm so sick of this area!

Both me and my boyfriend have this, and we both have pisces moon and NN in 9th house…sometimes I just randomly go for a little adventure, experience new places in town and get lost somewhere, it always feels wonderful…

My boyfriend is a little more extreme though, he can go for monthly long travels alone, where he travels for very long distances all by himself, and he can't help it, he needs to do this once a year… he doesn't need to go alone, he offers people to go with him, but he often ends up alone in the end, because his travel mates get tired and want to go home, but he just want to go further and further I have nothing against it, just doesn't hope he disappear permanently someday lol! Then I would go with him to the worlds end

I am not exactly sure why, maybe it is his 3rd house jupiter sextile sun? I also got jupiter in 12th house alone, thats probably why I go for short trips to isolated places by my self sometimes

I can't say I'm really traveling a lot, but I do like to travel, I also like just going somewhere randomly, and I don't like the idea of truly settling down and being stuck in place.

Mars in Sagittarius, 9th house in Pisces.
I don't have anything in the 9th house, though. But my Mars widely trines my NN. Maybe it counts.

I was almost born in a U-haul truck during my parent's job transfer, I was born to travel, always moving during my childhood, love traveling.

I think my Wanderlust comes from Moon square Uranus and maybe Pisces on 9th house cusp with traditional ruler Jupiter in 4th.

I read Uranus in 3rd can mean a person who likes to travel on short trips, I have this too.

I think that mutable planets can cause one to get agitated for new adventures and want to take off.

Me too! I love to travel from place to place and I'm always up for exploring, even if it's a local area. The very fact that I can't travel more often really frustrates me, since I very much want to explore every corner of the world.

Chart ruler is jupiter and jupiter conjuncts Uranus.

Exciting...

I personally feel that is more a problem that I like to call crony capitalism and corporatism; what the US has is not really capitalism.
