What's the difference?I read these articles about song lyrics and they seem to be similar: http://devilmood.blogspot.com/2008/03/venus-in-virgo-in-music.html?m=1 http://astroskies.blogspot.com/2008/04/venus-in-capricorn-in-music.html?m=1 IP: Logged |

I hate to do this but... http://www.alwaysastrology.com/capricorn-venus.html http://www.alwaysastrology.com/virgo-venus.html Read them both and compare. In short, I'd say Venus in Cap is more cautious, traditional in love, often more comfortable in expressing love when they have their career sorted out as they feel most comfortable then being in long, stable, fulfilling relationships and feel they can devote their energy there (been with someone who had cap moon, venus, mars) while Venus in Virgo is more attentive, very picky and critical, focuses on detail, analyzes their partner and more rational when it comes to love. They're very cerebral and do not approach love very easily although they are eager to be of service and help to their loved one and will often show it in that way. There's a lot of info online on these two Venus types, search and compare. IP: Logged |

Well, if I had to put it in two words, I would have said that Venus in Virgo is more perfectionist and Venus in Capricorn is more traditional.Virgo can be cold. Capricorn is more like reserved. The mental and mutable nature of Virgo's ruler makes a Virgo Venus more flexible. As a Virgo Venus, I'm prone to analyzing and being demanding and critical, but at the same time I'm attentive to my partner's needs. I'm also super critical about myself. And can be somewhat anally retentive. But I'm not really shy or traditional and I'm not into downstated things. I also noticed Venus in Capricorn (especially if other placements fit the pattern) often dislikes overly emotional partners or dramatic relationships or dramatic social gatherings. I'm totally fine with all that. I might be not a good example, though, because I have Leo, Sag and Scorpio placements and very little Earth in my chart otherwise. IP: Logged |

I am a Venus Capricorn involved with a Venus Virgo The only slight twist in deviating from the "status quo" response to a Virgo Venus is that my partner's Venus sits in the 12H. Truly diminishes all that "critical, perfectionist, and seemingly cold" stuff you typically hear of. He is actually far from critical. Showers compliments even when I look like a hobo! In his eyes I am SO sexy no matter the body odor or the shabby eye brows.
Venus Virgo shows love/affections by what they do. No real romanticism in the cupid and chocolates sense. It's the more practical things; folding the clothes so that you can cook with one less chore to be concerned about. Huh? Yeah, well it's true. And don't forget to notice this. Hearing a "thank you" for the little things they DO melts their little hearts. Venus Capricorn can appreciate the practical things because we too thrive on security and great partnership. So I easily see the little things being done and am highly appreciative. It's fitting because my focus is on taking care of home, making sure our life runs like a well oiled machine, is structured and in order. Cozy quarters is romantic in my book. Cerebral lifestyle. Spend money on a fancy dinner, with a fancy outfit, amongst the busy world? No. Keep that money for a home cooked meal, in front of the tube, with our feet kicked up. Security is the name of the game. - Sorry to be longwinded IP: Logged |

Just a little addition about the critical thing. I think we people with Virgo Venus can be overly critical before a relationship more than during one. At least, I am. I'm not willing to overlook stuff at first, but once someone managed to fit all my criteria, I admire them and I'll shower them with compliments, too. After all, they are awesome indeed if they managed to pass the Virgo Gate of Perfection, lol. My Venus also sits in the 3rd house--I'm very verbal about all that stuff and I can flatter people quite a lot when I feel like it. IP: Logged |

I do! It's not like I keep it on paper somewhere but I have a sort of a mental list of traits and qualities which I find desirable and vice versa. IP: Logged |
