I read that neptune "dissolves" anything it touches and that it is the planet of "delusions/illusions" What would that mean for it to be in the first house which is about personality and appearence? My emotions are vague at best and people are always dissapointed that im not what they thought i was. A lot of conversations are awkward and confusing because i feel uncertain about what i say. My mind tends to drift off while im talking and then i forget the point i was trying to make. I dont even know who i really am and what im intrested in. I always see things from several perspectives but never my own which make it hard to give a valid opinion on subjects.

You need to read about Neptune in the 1st house, it pretty much says everything you are saying in your post.

I feel you in a way. I have Sun, Merc, Venus, Saturn in Pisces in the 1st house. So my inward Piscean ways are displayed very outwardly and it can be really uncomfortable. I've come to notice that although I often feel what you do, it's mainly in my head and that sometimes I project what I think people might sense in me that they actually don't which then makes me wonder whether I'm deluding myself or whether I am seeing things accurately. I do have my ASC in Aqua though so I do come off very social, analytical, friendly and detached etc. and that may subdue those feelings for me that you're discussing.

Yeah I had these problems really badly for a long time. Neptune in 1st here as well. It gets better the more you try to actively integrate it and work on it but will never truly go away. I think since neptune is the spiritual planet it also makes it more obvious that there is more to consciousness and existence than just this lifetime which is why it doesn't let us attach to our egos that strongly.

I also have it conjunct Uranus also in 1st house though so it makes me somewhat of and individual who knows who I am and at the same time knows it doesn't matter.
