How much does the house that your moon sits in relate to you, pretty much do you think it effects your personality or does it color the way you express your actual moon?

My moon is in aquarius and i relate strongly to it and its in the 1st house, now most moon in aqua descriptions say how moon in aqua person can seem calm and calculating and am like that but once my scorpio sun mask goes down and im comfortable and my moon shows im a enthusiastic person im very loud and sometimes obnoxious lmao and its how i naturally am when i read moon in aries descriptions a lot of it fits me, i used to date a moon in aries girl in highschool and i was the louder more out there person in the relationship but we got along very well, pretty much im curious about how much others resonate with the house placement there moon is in

I could always really relate well to Sagittarius Moon [for my 9H Moon in Virgo] but no way can ANYTHING, any house placement, etc. seriously take away the natural anxiety that comes with having a Virgo Moon, especially about all the little mundane crap in life. Haha

Definitely does. The 2nd house placement of my Pisces Moon really helps keep me more practical and grounded. A tad bit too self-indulgent though.

Aww, man, I didn't get it. I'm so sorry. Maybe you can re-send it? I will check back to see if it goes through this time! I hope so! Glad you have been doing well too. :') I'm doing OK, a lot going on today health-wise but I'm mentally and emotionally in a better place.

IMO the eighth house isn't that great a place for the moon.

Can you elaborate? I'm interested to hear your take on why that is...

I see... Are you speaking in terms of how it feels to the native or how it might manifest in synastry?

Gem moon in the 5th here... I realized that when it comes to talking about how I feel, I express myself very artistically and almost poetically. I can talk about my feelings but if you were to hear me speak of them, it would sound as though I am talking about someone else. I intellectualize them very much. I don't have much of an affinity towards children but they really adore me, I feel like I can't connect with children I can't have intellectual conversation with. I feel very awkward around them. It is very difficult for me to truly feel my feelings. I am either emotionally shallow or extremely emotionally deep (all the Pisces in my chart).

I am usually very awful at maintaining communication but excessively chatty when I am emotionally stimulated. So if I truly like someone good LORD, I talk to them so much that it comes off as severe agitation and excitability. I like myself best when my moon is moderately stimulated because that's when I feel most slick, flirtatious and witty!

My Scorpio moon (which is conjunct Pluto) is in my first house (Scorp rising). The first house representing Aries, I'd have to say the only Aries thing about my emotions would be impulsiveness. I can sometimes do or think things without thinking it through, say or do something completely based on what I'm feeling at the moment and not thinking about my actions and how it will affect me in the future. Oh and I can be impatient and hot headed. But I still carry the obsessive, quiet, probing Scorp moon tendencies lol.

Having the moon in the eighth house, for me, is too personal as in, I have often treated other people's belongings like my own. I have grown out of the habit. I would go to people's houses, nose through their belongings and put my hands on all their stuff like it was mine. This was a serious issue for me. If one kid had a coloring book, I would just take it from them like it belonged to me.

It's like all their belongings were personalized and for me to use, as moochy as that sounds.

Like I typed, I grew out of that phase.

Could that be the Taurus combined with the eighth?
Don't come to my house. I'll have to cut your hands off.

I know. It's an irritating personality trait. I don't feel this compulsion to do it anymore. I can go to people's houses and not want to hold their keepsakes in my hands.
You and BG's belongings would be safe around me, hehe.

In most instances, I think that I usually feel the house placement more than the sign. This is definitely the exception, though. I don't really agree with/see much of myself in Moon in 3rd descriptions.

Sun -> Aries
Moon -> Sagittarius
Ascendant -> Virgo

I have my moon in 10th house, but don't feel like a cap moon at all. I more feel like my Pisces moon intensify this house and what its about… and since its about "others", I am extremely sensitive towards others and what they think about me

5H moon fits me except for the fact that I don't really like kids...or want any.
