It takes a long time for a Libra to fully commit to a partner without reservation (much longer than many other signs), but once it happens it's even harder for them to break it off. That is to say if you can be vetted to a Libra's satisfaction as a lifelong partner (which takes lots of patience as their scales dip back and forth, and Libra can continue to weigh the choice long after they say they've made it), once they do then they're there for better and for worse, more so than I think many other signs that can fully commit faster. And if they felt they had no choice but to exit the relationship (especially if it were something beyond anyone's control) then they'd do some hardcore grieving...I think death of the body would be easier to handle than death of a relationship fully committed to.

I've observed libras in terrible relationships, taking a lot of bs that most people wouldn't tolerate. So yeah I do think they really stick it out for their partner. But I'm talking about them being with someone who was obviously cheating on them or didn't love and respect them. I do see oh they would stay with someone even if they changed forever. I see a lot of signs doing that. But on,y if the love is there. With libra I've noticed that even when he other person stops loving them, they can't let go.

I had a libra that decided on me that wouldn't let go long after we were through. Even while dating other people he was trying to get back with me. Even after I repeatedly put him down and literally told him to eff off because I am in no way attracted to him or want to be with him. Honestly I was a total b word to him but I couldn't stand him being so attached to me when I hated him.

But I would think as long as Libra believes that YOU are pulling your weight in the relationship and fighting just as hard for it that they'll credit you that and match your efforts into the relationship.

But I think generally they will put up with a LOOOOOT of crap. They are not quitters!
