One of my favorite singers is Adam Ant I loved watching his videos on MTV and his songs were fun. He was also cute in his videos in a new wave kinda way, or New Romantic as his genre became. He started out as a punk then invented this New Romanticism with makeup, lip gloss, lots of thick, black hair, and highly stylized costumes that resembled pirates, Native Americans and spaghetti westerns. I found a recent pic of him and am surprised just how much he has changed since the eighties. He is a Scorpio sun. Scorpio is the sign of transformations and if I bumped into him in public now, I wouldn't recognize him at all.  His aging seems much more dramatic than other celebrities. He is 58. IP: Logged |

That is quite a transformation, I'd accuse him of lying if he said he was Adam Ant. Although, I wouldn't necessarily say he's aged more than most, that other pic has to be from almost 30 years ago. For a 58 year old smoker he has great skin, that's a rarity. I've seen people half his age with more wrinkles on their face. He has definitely put on a few pounds, but he used to look pretty gaunt for a guy. Also, he doesn't have on his make up!  I used to love his Napoleon style jackets in the 80's! My sister had posters of him all over her walls circa '85. Ahhh, the 80's!!! Lol! IP: Logged |

Usually celebrities try harder to look younger.
I haven't heard about him being troubled, Charlie. I thought he was more straight edged than most, as in no drinking or drugs.

I seriously doubt that! He always seemed mellow by musician standards to me. He was into the fashion (not following it but coming up with his own stuff) and creating genre. I always thought he was kinda nutty and goofy but in a good way. When he was younger, did he look Plutonian to you? IP: Logged |
