Things above the "horizon" are more public.

Yep!
You can somewhat follow the circle of life around the chart.
I think those houses are more open to everyone in general and the 11th more your friends. Things like that.
And if you notice... With Aries asc 0 layout and planets in their homes.
The outer planets are on top and personal generally below, in our private lives.
You're born and discover that you are one, yourself. Taurus and possessions next. When kids get all greedy and not sharing - discovering that you can and do have possessions, Learning to communicate Gemini/3rd. And your family (mother) is generally who teaches you, where you learn it from and pulls you into family. (4th) Etc. and follow your life around.
7th the partner, 8th sharing possessions (other peoples money! Aka your partner and their family) with each other and your bodies (sex). Those things stick with you but you learn them there, mastering them through your life. Or losing high school and college friends when you move on to career and gaining new friends - 9th to 10th to the 11th.
That's one way I saw someone describe it, but better than I can. It's pretty cool!
The craziest, most emotionally unstable time of my life was high school. Hated it and everyone.
My moon in Gemini in 9th. See that? I was very depressed, delusional, suicidal. Geminis ruler mercury in 12th, Virgo, square moon = self criticism.
My Venus in 12th, true love came after my education and after my Saturn return, in 10th, my career.
Libra rising, gaining some identity from your partner.
I'm not sure it's always 100% working that way but you can start making connections and the makeup of the chart and planets begin to alter those. It's always going to be a brain buster.
Because the planets which activate and aspects may alter how things are carried out and in what order, if at all. It's crazy but I think it still helps to view it this way. Just know that the houses were not random at all. They very much have an order to them.
I get confused about the partner/sex houses being before the education and stuff... But.. I'm sure if we look hard enough we'll see it.

Then your "self" and action, beginning your private life, just below, and your "partner" and love, just above in the public/others, tying the two halves together with the relationship axis.
It's really neat when you zoom out a little instead of sticking everything under a microscope.

I kind of took notice of some of those things as I was writing this. But I do think people could benefit from backing away and not being all Virgo about their charts. lol

Personally, I almost always fly under the radar. I usually only get noticed immediately by homeless people and shop keepers that want my money. My Ascendant is in Virgo, though, so I suppose even with a lot of MC contacts, that probably makes sense.

Some people want to just throw me on a bed and some just want to throw me off a bridge. lol

It definitely draws in some unwanted attention and then at the same time, people have this "awareness" but purposely do not give you attention because I guess they think you might tear their face off. Unless you're paying attention you may not notice these things. But I'm a people watcher.

Thats funny cuz one thing i really notice is that whenever there is a conjunction from pluto to a personal planet/angle it always pulls out gut reactions/feelings from other people "immediately"

like say for you since its on your asc im sure right off the bat people either love you or just straight hate you theres no in between and it happens subconsciously, just like my cousin who has venus conjunct pluto and people either LOVE him and think hes the sexiest guy ever OR they hate his guts for no reason at all,

even me i have the conjunction on my mc and i remember that one time i posted that thread asking about what sign i look like immediately people thought i was a douche and didnt like the way i came off or they seemed to like me and that would make sense since my mc pluto conjunction should be felt online

compared to your asc conjunction that people feel when they first meet you, in a way i do think pluto conjunctions definately add presence but it can also be a double edged sword for some who dont like to be judged so quickly or superficially

I have an empty first house, however have Sun, mercury, venus and saturn opp asc, uranus,chiron sq asc,neptune semi sq asc,moon semi sextile asc,Jup and pluto trine asc.

Mars opposite Moon (And they are all in angular houses, which I think gets me noticed)
And also a very close chiron conjunction ascendant (in cancer)

The 7th is interaction with the public and the 10th is reputation, high standing and social relevance.

I have Venus and Saturn in the 7th house. I get noticed.But because my Sun is in the 8th house,I feel embarrassed with all the attention and shy away from it.
