I am very new to astrology but am very enthusiastic about learning more. And I was wondering how does one read about the fate of a country, should I look a it as a person and then take transts and progressive chart? Has anyone done such a reading about the situation in Ukraine and if so, what have you seen?

Use the Natal Chart of your country.
Apply current transits.
You can go back to a specific date and look at the transits for that day.
