Hi, I am interested in learning astrology in-depth and would like to know where to start. I know the bare basics, but want to get really into it. Where do I start ? I have the charts of people whose permission I have to share (anonymously, of course). Is that a good way to start ? Thanks ! IP: Logged |

Fundamentals. Houses, signs, elements, modalities (fixed, cardinal, mutable) Aspects in general But I learned by studying my own chart, asking questions, and being able to relate. "The only astrology book you'll ever need" is a good book. Get a personal reading in interpersonal astrology and ask questions. IP: Logged |

I know the basics, as I said, but I am new to asteroid astrology and such. What would be a good book to reference ? Thanks !

Ohhhhhh... Asteroids are hard. I think. I'm still learning and I haven't found a good resource. LL seems like the best one. I have a huuuuuuuuge list of them with the numbers though. But I don't know TOO much about them. Sun? Idk, just from my impression and not reading I always felt like it "brought to light" what it touches. Good or bad. That's just me though and MY personal impression. IP: Logged |

I think that is one of the things that stumps me. So much of astrology seems to be intuitive and subjective. Which kinda worries me because I am not at all the intuitive kind.

That's just the way I go about it combined with what I've read and I don't mean to be like... I know it all that well even! lol Whatever works for you! Just start asking questions or using the LL search. Whether intuition or taking notes.. If it works it works! IP: Logged |

Read Linda Goodman's Sun signs...get a good idea about the signs. Next find Parker's Astrology book and read that or March and Mcever's books The Only Way to learn astrology 1, 2, and 3. Or see if you can find a copy of Secrets from a stargazer's notebook.....awesome read IP: Logged |

Hi WhyMe! Gosh where do I start? I have a blog post on my blog theastrofiend.blogspot.com, where I go over my astrology favorite blogs, websites, and books. Check it out link here: http://theastrofiend.blogspot.com/2017/09/virgo-season-resources-on-learning.html Shameless promotion plug but I make ASTROcard Astrology Symbols & Vocabulary Flashcards Set. This is a 99 flashcard set that is laminated/double-sided/numbered and includes a lot of astrology information. Zodiac signs, aspects, chart patterns, asteroids, planets. You can find it online at Etsy and Amazon. I also have made a video on how to read natal charts on my ASTROcard YouTube Channel. Since you really want to learn about asteroids I just suggest doing a google search and looking up blogs. Asteroids astrology information is scattered all over the web. IP: Logged |
