I agree completely. It's funny actually, I have the book and when I saw the traits I didn't agree at all of course, and it took a whole year to realize the truth. The traits fit me to a t. I'm all of those times 1000 lol. But it's me and I wouldn't change myself for anything in the world. I'm a perfectionist(I'm admitting to it) and couldn't have been born on a better day. Practice absolutely makes perfect.

Day of Utopia....but what day is this?

I kind of agree with it, I'm definitely too idealistic at times and prone to having lofty expectations without the support needed to reach them. The part on reading people was spot on, I'm very selective in who I choose to be close friends with. A little naive at times, but I care too much about people and humanity in general to not stand up for social rights and causes. Dissatisfied only with myself, not super critical with others. Not as spontaneous as the link suggested, but most likely thats due to my job.

Definitely true when I was a kid. I've lightened up on failings though I had some serious personality conflicts with relatives I loved and admired that lasted for years (arguably they're still going on, but I tend to laugh it off more these days). And teachers had a special rule for me, they'd allow me to read and write in class (even when no one else was allowed and the other kids pointed it out) and in return I did not ask questions or challenge what was being taught. I'd "argue I was contentious" (get it? ) about it in some cases but in my youth I could be a lot more impulsive (in extreme cases this could include mean pranks or violence) than I was as I got older.

Oh, and when I caught a mistake over a date in a history book that the unqualified coach teaching our class mocked me for I came back over the weekend with 2 public library books and 1 school library book that agreed with me and disagreed with the textbook. He was stunned that I'd gone to the trouble and couldn't argue with that (but he did send me to the office and the principal took away the school library book with school librarian telling me not to worry about it). On the multiple choice test he made for us he listed the date in the textbook and the correct date and I chose the correct date (it was the only answer of mine he incorrectly marked as wrong--incorrect as far as facts go, though correct if you use the paradigm that school is about teaching obedience to authority which I was failing at due to my defiance).

Definitely me from say 17 to my early 20s (though I attributed this more to my Scorpio Jupiter along with Libra Pluto on the Scorpio cusp in a stellium). This is why I experimented with psychedelic drugs, too. Luckily, I reached my "Buddhist detachment" (at least for the most part) by the time I was 25, though it would take a few more years for it to fully kick in...interesting story, that (IMO).

And difficult to break attachments...the way I'm understanding it, that's not exactly in concordance with little things getting under my skin (it can be, but I shrugged a lot off). So far this is only getting questionable to me when it talks about my love life but as far as I can tell it's only skewed here as I don't have the same obsession with my love life as I believe this author has with hers.

This is pretty much true. Granted, I frighten some people, but others love to have me around, and love talking with me (even now I get emails from people I haven't seen in years who want my perspective on something). I've been told I have a "great and terrible gift with words" (which I've attributed to my Libra Mercury on Scorpio cusp in stellium).

And I've been surprised a lot. I did some small favors for a homeless guy when I was a volunteer and a couple of years later he came up to me and said hi and thanks for all I'd done for him which was surprising to me. I was touched when I organized a Bible study for some homeless who weren't being helped with that and they insist I come to the very first one so I did, and grateful for my bringing it together they all wanted to know my denomination and said I was an agnostic...that shocked them but what shocked me was them making me an "honorary Christian" saying they could recognize me by my fruits along with the false Christians by their fruits which was really nice of them. Another I got groceries for anonymously so she didn't have to give up her cat (and could live with a modicum of dignity) automatically knew it was me and after she got a job at a health food store she gave me her employee discount on my favorite drinks which was very much appreciated. And I could go on and on...

- Don't know about having this attitude. I am more dour and no nonsense than most people and can be moody and silent. I am quiet instead of playful and flirtatious so I guess you could call it a businesslike attitude although when I know someone well I am more expressive to them. You could say I am shy.

All seems subjective to me, some do find me inspirational and beautiful (mentally and physically) while others want to keep their kids away from me so I don't give them strange ideas and I've been harshly criticized on some aspects of my appearances at times. Therefore, it's subjective.

And I can't think of anything If I'm addicted to anything then it's my physical hobbies (which does provide endorphins) and perhaps really getting into some series. I wouldn't say I've ever been that prone to being self-destructive, but I have been reckless, and as an intellectual exercise I imagined ways to end my life with leaving as little of a mess behind as I could "just in case I needed to fast." But I never mutilated myself, drank myself near to death, took up smoking, drive recklessly, or anything like that. When I did throw everything away it was for rebirth (and a belief that it was better than the alternative), not self-destruction.

I like your positive traits, especially your technicality. Which in turn makes you influential...as in, you've got your i's dotted and t's crossed, so you are someone to reckon with. Not a lightweight.

The obsessive stuff you've mentioned before, attributing it to your Scorpio Venus. "Secretive" matches how you've surprised me sometimes, opening up about things I never would have guessed.
