I've noticed with two of my friends who have this placement is that they love male attention too much. I know a lot of women like this, but Leo moons have it to the extreme. As far as I've seen, they would do almost anything to grab every man's attention and that includes dressing inappropriately. It's like their emotional stability thrives on it. If they don't get the attention they want, they feel ****** and depressed and worthless--which usually isn't the case.IP: Logged |

LOL...this is my mom. To a tee. In fact, I think she even borders on histrionic in her desire for male attention. This goes with the inappropriate outfits, ridiculously long, bleached hair, etc. She dressed literally like Barbie for the duration of my childhood! Men were/are her obsession. She's tempered out with age, but she still tries to look good all the time, even if we're not going anywhere special...I think it stems from not only her desire to have attention from everyone, but specifically from guys. I love my mom, and I feel bad that she needs the validation of men and male attention to feel 'complete'. IP: Logged |

Well, Leo women are Lioness, they want to be acknowledged and adored, especially Leo Moon as these are deep rooted needs. Leo is a pack animal, they are not too much on the loner side, they run in packs/friends and need companionship, this gives them competition and prowess. I'm strictly speaking from a symbolism view without any other chart factors. Leo is a yang sign -- it's not sitting back to wait, so in a woman it also makes her actively seek attention from the opposite sex. Lucky for her, she most likely have beautiful hair and big "cat" eyes to go with these traits  Another note on the animal kingdom side not human side, female lions they tend to take charge of everything -- they have a strong will. The lazy male lion does nothing while he is surrounded by other female lions. But female lions still provide for him, and only use him for semi-protection and procreation. I'm a Leo Moon and I'm pretty sure I don't dress inappropriately since nearly everyone I know says I look between 12-14-16 if I'm lucky even though I'm almost 19  . I dress like a plain jane 90% of the time. *Edit: Actually nevermind lol... I started thinking about my colorful love/romance/dating life and yeah I like the attention but I don't feel/get depressed if I don't get any. IP: Logged |

Oops! Not a NICE thread about us lol
I do dress sexy for a night out with friends. Sexy fo me is great hair,smile,glowing skin,a nice dress and a pair of Jimmy Choos. N no i dont have my hair colored, i wear minimal make up. There is nothing flashy about me. But i love getting complimented : ))
Am i attention seeking? I dont know. But i get noticed. Peiple wanna know me : )) sometimes it gets creepy ewww but on a normal day I love it. I like to have people around me. And IRL I have my group of friends who adore me. And I LOVE it : )

There is nothing wrong with that, I think it's cool, you are expressing the energy of your sign and planet in sign, that is always good, you are being authentic. There seems to be a trend that people should shut down their sign characteristics because they are "different" than norm. I'm very against that, I think if you feel like doing something do it (within reason of course...don't kill anybody or completely go overboard). Attention is part of the Leo archetype, it's no denying that Leos like attention, it is part of the sign.

Oh thanks Comatoes( btw nice nick) I think i needed that reassurance. A bit : )) I am very comfortable being who i am. I dont think wearing sexy clothes alone make a person sexy. I have noticed ppl complimenting me straight out when im wearing loose fitting linen slacks and a tee.
IRL i dont face this issue. So Im ok with this thread. There are so many good things about moon in Leo.
But when it goes out of control yes ppl will complain about it. One thing I have noticed is,there is something attention grabbing about this moon sign, esp their facial feature like eye color. Something pops out.. Maybe in a good way or not so good.
As long as ppl dont go overboard and dress inappropriately it should be fine.

Doesn't Leo EVERYTHING want attention  ! I don't know many Leo moons, but I have especially noticed this with Leo Mars or Venus in women. Although I've seen the same thing with Scorpio Mars and Venus women. They feed off of the admiration and sexual attention of men.My mom is a Leo Sun, and she never really dressed overly provocative, but still likes to show cleavage in her 60's. One time she was coming out of the store, and a really sleazy looking guy said something to her, and she just lit up and had a little extra pep in her step walking to the car. I asked her what he said, and she replied "he said nice ass", with a big smile on her face. I could not believe she was so flattered, and I always hated that she got an ego boost from comments like that. Cat calls **** me off, and I've never been flattered by them! I know sooo many Leos, and the best way to end an argument is to compliment their hair or their shirt. Their face lights up, and they forget that they were even mad to begin with. They are child like in the way they can be manipulated just by distracting them, and compliments are the best distraction. My former mother in law has a Leo Sun, a T-square with Leo Venus/Pluto exactly conjunct, square Mars in Scorpio, opposite Jupiter in Taurus. She is obsessed with her looks. She's 60, and has had over 50 thousand dollars worth of plastic surgery, although it's not obvious that she's had surgery. No cat face....yet. She still wears see through shirts, lots of animal prints, and bedazzled jeans with over the top jewelry. It makes my 5 planets in Libra cringe! She always acted VERY jealous of me, and it didn't help that my Scorpio Sun is smack dab on her Mars, hitting all the planets in her T-square. I wish I had gotten into astrology sooner, because that revelation explained A LOT about my relationship with her. She really cannot stand anyone that looks better than her, or gets more attention than her. She has always gotten by on her looks for validation. She liked to give me clothes as gifts, and a couple of years ago she gave me a completely see through, silver knit top, that was backless all the way down. It was impossible to wear with a bra or undershirt, so unless I wore bandaids on my nipples, I was going to be putting on a show. Even worse, I think she bought it for herself, but decided to regift it. I returned it, and I was shocked at how expensive it was. It reminded me of Dolly Pardon's line "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap!". I was able to exchange it for a real leather purse. IP: Logged |
