Do we chose from a sense of ideal self, actual self, or ought (to be) self?

I am obsessed with a celebrity and I hate/love it.

Like freddie mercury, I wanted my last name to be a planet and I thought why not pluto. It's the most intriguing, faraway planet.

It's not my actual last name of course. lol.

Sag Moon conjunct Neptune (drunken frenzy)
Taurus Venus (the hedonist)
Jupiter conjunct Uranus (excessively crazy)

I was going through a break-up and recovering from spinal surgery when I changed it from "Hera". I thought the kickass goddess resonated a little bit too much to the vibration of a scorned woman and decided to screw all that and the pain I was going through start embodying a more carefree, fun being.

I also picked this username because it added to 24 in Chaldean numerology, so good vibes all around it - you may think it's a little nuts but I think I behave a lil bit different under this screen name even though I don't act it up lol.

Void of the Sea, now that would have been good! Wish I'd thought of that.

It's voice, as far as I know.
I'm not a native french speaker though, so I may have broken some rules with my Frenchlish.

Why this name?

Voice: always singing from toddler-age. Still singing. Took me a long time to find my speaking voice, so now I have it, I'm really glad!
I also always try to speak with depth and sincerity, and insight. I find those qualities in the sea.

Of the Sea: well, I have always felt of the sea, again, since childhood.
Always been a water baby.
Visit the sea regularly. Have to go in, even if it's December.
I love everything deep, consuming, creative, mysterious, and brimming with life - the sea!

So Voice pertains to what I gained.
I was not allowed a voice, but I think my Pluto made sure I got it anyway, even if it near killed me in the process (more than once!).

Of the sea: I lack water in my chart.
I love everything sea-y and Neptunian, but it does not show in my astrology.
Unless you count Neptune conj. Galactic Centre.

I have often sang of the sea too.
I find it very inspiring for songwriting
- there's loss, love, journey, beginning, end, fog, struggle, victory, etc, etc, all in the sea. A whole world of its own.

I really do wish I could live there.
Why can't we do that yet??

Music is important to me. As in at one point I was a music ed major - voice. Life had other plans. I love music most for the power it has to communicate emotion. Of course, blues is one of those great examples of that.

And with a water heavy chart, yeah, I'm deeper and more emotional than your run of the mill, happy go lucky Twin. Blues suits me.

I loved your description! I live 3 h away from the sea, in fact I might get up and drive there tomorrow because I haven't seen it this year at all. I love the sea also, but I came to love the oceans more, the Pacific is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Living on a beach would be my dream as well - and we should follow our dreams!

Bella Fenice means Beautiful Phoenix in Italian. I absolutely love the metaphor of the phoenix, a beautiful creature that metaphorically has a great life lesson.

At the end of its life the phoenix builds itself a nest, then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self.
