Hey Everyone,

I would like to know your opinion about Chiron in the 10th House...

Those who have it what do you experience? Is it true that people having it are not able to have a so-called "real career" in their lives?

It became actual for me, because I'm searching for jobs for a looong-time and I have lots of troubles finding one...I do have Chiron in the 10th...

I know how your feeling, I have this my Chiron is in Leo, it's not just the career part I think it effects my sense of worthiness in society. Finding a job is hard, and even if I have a job it's just hard for me to feel good about it and myself, so then I'll ditch it and try and find something that will try make me feel good about myself.

Chiron in any house does not prevent or stall the achievements associated with that house. I have Chiron in the 9th, and I've done excellently in college and have almost always been accepted to every college I've applied to. I worried, at 16, that Chiron here would delay or prevent my education beyond high school, but it's not true.

Delays or setbacks due to karmic lessons that must be learned, hard work that must be done, etc. is all Saturn. Feeling like you can't ever succeed or have a 'real job' reminds me of Saturn. Saturn can make us feel exhausted and drained when it comes to the pursuits of the house he's in if we haven't mastered his lessons yet. However, when we master his lessons, we feel immensely satisfied even with small results.

Do you have Saturn touching your MC ruler or an astral in your 10th besides Chiron?

Trust me, Chiron is that motivation to think beyond that particular house. I look at Chiron in 10th as, I will not let other people's opinions of me define me-I will not let my ideals about work keep me from working in a position that is "beneath" or "above" me.

I have Chiron in 10th conjuct Jupiter on the cusp of the 11th, and I have developed a new found sense of self worth when it comes to my position in life, and where I want to be. I started my own business as a result, and stopped caring about what people said about me-I took the power back so to speak.

Chiron IMO, is about harnessing inner power and using it for the betterment of yourself and others.

I know this part of the forum is not about reading charts (it is not my intention), but if you asked, it is easier to show you

Wow. Great description. I found also something about Chiron in 10th house that is better then most S@!t.
quote:
Tenth House: These people drive themselves hard in their own field, often keeping gruelling schedules. yet they are usually known for being vital, alive and hardworking with a single-mindedness of purpose and a hatred of inactivity. When they talk about their purpose they tend to lecture like a preacher. It is not unusual for them to reach a high position in some field without many of the requirements which are normally necessary to do so, such as a high school graduate working at a job usually filled by a college graduate. In any event, they are usually in a position where they just don’t seem to fit in with their co-workers, such as the only non-family member in a family-run business. Even if they chose a field where it is normal to be “different”, they still seem to just not be like anyone else in the field. Thus they are definitely conspicuous and capable of making quite an impact on their profession. They are known for having a “something extra” which makes them stand out as mavericks, or for NOT having something which others in their field have which also makes them stand out. The public knows these people for their willingness to go beyond conventional methods in their careers, even if there is opposition from others, and they often disdain critics. Many have a great charisma. They usually have a fast wit and tend to be known for their self-deprecating humor . They always feel they must have an immediate goal, and if they don’t have one they invent one. Often they find it difficult to concern themselves with long-range goals. They make good crusaders.

No problem! The Moon is conjunct your MC, and both are opposite Saturn. Mercury is retrograde, which rules your MC. I can definitely sense that this is where your troubles with finding the best career for you would be. Mercury is in Libra and Rx, you'll find some issues with being unsure of where the best money making opportunities are. You might have issues with confidence at work. Maybe you were never made to feel self-sufficient when you were a child and now it's affecting you in the outside world. Your emotions are closely tied to your work environment and you may have issues dealing with your emotions affecting your job...like hating a job is something you can't hide, and it can get you fired, OR you might feel like you can only work when you're in a good emotional state.

Hopefully some of this rings true for you. I'm a bit pressed for time so I wasn't as thorough as I wanted to be. :') But I can definitely sense issues besides 10H Chiron leading to problems with your career. I can sense you probably fluctuate about what you really want to do in order to have a prosperous and happy career.

Ahh, thank you! You're so sweet. I'm glad it was accurate for you. You're welcome.

No, these challenging aspects will not stop you from having a successful career. With Mercury Rx in Libra, you need to get down to brass tacks and make up your mind about what path you want to take. Writing down to-do lists, being methodical, and not worrying about the opinions of others is essential. Research and more research will help you with finding a good position. Try not to get disheartened and call off the search if someone rejects you. Learning how to manage your emotional tensions and nervousness [Gemini influence on the MC/Moon aspect] is essential, and can be done with meditation and relaxation techniques like deep breathing. It's also very important to look at the big picture, and to not get caught up in the day to day, little issues you have with a job. All of this is possible with mindfulness, which means zeroing in on your negative thinking and trying to change it daily.
