Halle freaking lujah! It is great see an interpretation of house 8 Chiron that doesn't have the words "sexually repressed" included. I am far from it. I absolutely relate to being volatile. I keep my cool, because I have a criterion: Is this person worth prison? Death, especially sudden (Chiron opposed my Sun/Uranus), has been an lifelong theme for me. Chiron FINALLY makes sense. Thank you, LeoCassandra!

Chiron in the 1st here.

I'm not sure what to make of this. On the one hand, I can't say that I completely disagree with it (or at least parts of it), but on the other it's not really the sort of description I'm comfortable openly identifying with either. I'm not usually the type of person who looks for outside validation, but in this case it seems like saying "yes, this is me" about myself would be simply wrong. Or at the very least incredibly self-absorbed.

The fact that it almost reads like the archetypal description of an anti-hero from some dark sci-fi/fantasy epic or surrealist spaghetti western probably doesn't help much either.

quote:
[He] orients himself to the universe in a way that goes beyond any particular path, established viewpoint or structured life-style. The first impression this person gives is that he cannot be categorized. He looks familiar sometimes, but you cannot put your finger on the reason. The eyes have a look about them as if the person were from another dimension, a stranger in a strange land.

There is a refusal to let any obstacle interfere .... Overcoming obstacles and resolving problems, in fact, is one way this person discovers himself.

There is a strong “loner” quality .... They often have the ability to get around the system, the unique ability to see beyond what others see, and often have a “wild” look in their eyes which makes them quite attractive.

Cue theme song.

Yeah, I dunno. Sounds just a little too cool to be me.
