Would having Moon in the 1st make it seem more Aries-like, even though the Moon is in Gemini?IP: Logged |

No it would make you make more cancer like...moody and moody swings. Wearing your heart on your sleeves and not being able to hide your emotions on your face. Basically your emotions are out in the wide open and any disdain or happiness you try to hide will show on your face. IP: Logged |

I agree with what cappy said BUT aries moons are similar in the way that they wear there hearts on there sleeve and not being able to hide there emotions. you express the characteristics/emotions of your moon sign in a aries way, im a scorpio sun moon in aqua and i express my emotions very bluntly for someone with a lot of scorp/pluto influence in my chart i also had really good chemistry with one of my old gfs who had aries moon and we expressed feelings in a very similar way obv she had more of the aries personality since thats her moon sign but the aries energy is there as well, do you have any aries moon friends? if you do look at how they react to situations and compare it to your reactions its similarIP: Logged |

Hmm idk my Scorpio moon in first house (Scorpio rising) makes me a bit impulsive but that can be controlled, and I get hot headed easily sometimes...i have bold reactions too which I try to control and cool down with my calm Scorpio rising traits. The moon in Aries people I know, I get along with well but it's not emotionally satisfying. I'd rather have them as friends because they're fun people to be around but as partners they're too direct and are not very grounded. At least in my experience. IP: Logged |

I'm kind of conflicted about this honestly lol. I also have the same thoughts that having any planet in the first takes on more of an Arian quality. I have Moon in 1st but I also have Moon square Mars though, so it kind of adds to my moon having an Aries vibe. While I don't think (or at least I've never been told) that I wear my emotions on my face, I can be pretty darn moody (Cancer Asc, and Moon dominant), but I do react to things in an Arian way. I guess for many people the 1st house takes on the qualities of the planets in the house, while other houses give their qualities to the planets that reside in them (if that makes sense). For example: Venus in 1st would make someone more Venusian but Venus in 5th would give more of a Venus in Leo type vibe. IP: Logged |

I dont feel like the 1st house should get any other special treatment than the other 11 houses all the houses are equal and have there own specific energy if a planet in 5th gives leo energy than any planet in 1st gives arian energy i feel like everyone mistakes the moodiness from the arian energy on there "emotions" for being cancerian but face it aries energy just goes and when your moon is placed in that house its easy for your energy to go up than down than left than right than backwords haha that doesnt mean you should correlate that with cancer energy IP: Logged |

I don't personally know any Aries Moons, but I have Aries Mercury and Venus and I could sort of see it in certain circumstances.I'm passive-aggressive with things (Cancer Mars), but when it comes to more angry emotions, I can't hide them (i.e; disdain or when I'm upset with someone). I can hide almost any other emotion, just not when I'm mad at you. I'm not explosive, I'll communicate my feelings and what you did that made me feel that way/how I feel about it. Moon Aspects: Moon square Saturn orb +3°43' Moon trine Midheaven orb +3°02' Moon sextile Venus orb -1°29' Moon trine Jupiter orb +4°29' Moon opposite Pluto orb -7°37' Moon sextile Mars orb -3°58' Sun semi-sextile Moon orb -1°57 My AC is Taurus, so I guess it would ground me more and make me less likely to explode? This is how I feel, having the Moon in 4th should give more of a Cancerian Moon Vibe than having the Moon in 1st.

I have moon in the first house. People describe me as gentle, sweet and nurturing, which are not typical traits of an aries moon. Lol. I think it adds some Cancerian flavor, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that it is like a Cancer moon. IP: Logged |

This is an interesting question. I think the 1st House is always associable with Aries. It's just that this House makes the energy of the planet so IN YOUR FACE that it comes off more like the planet's ruling sign than Aries. For instance, Sun in 1st House is so blatantly Sun-like that it comes off as similar to Leo Sun. Venus in the 1st House is so blatantly Venus-like that it'll seem like Venus in Taurus or Libra. So, Moon in the 1st House projects the Lunar energy really strongly, similar to Cancer Moon. BUT, also factor in the energy of the sign that the Moon's in. With a Gemini Moon, your Gemini energy is very obvious and in people's face, but it also brings out the more maternal, caring aspects of Gemini Moon. You're probably softer/more sentimental than the average Gemini Moon. Maybe you always want to talk to people about their feelings? Or readily discuss your own? ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

I get how confusing this can be. For it to be more "Aries-like", Mars would have to be in the 1st house. In fact, Mars on the angle period- can give Aries-like traits. A full 1st house-with plenty of planets- can also give a person a "self-centered" nature and make them only view the world from their own point of view- seeing another's perspective is very difficult for these folks. But if its only the Moon there, Cancer traits are peaked; emotional, sensitive, can "feel" other people's energies etc

I'll openly and readily say how I'm feeling but if it's personal, I'll keep it to myself. I'll say "I'm sad today" if I don't know why because then I won't have to talk about it. But if there's a reason as to why I'm sad, I won't talk about it at all or even admit that I'm sad. When it comes to other people, I'm much more "you give and I take".. I like to probe into your mind and see what's going on with you. IP: Logged |

I have Moon in Cancer in the 1st house. Well, it's kinda hard to differentiate with what you all just said above. Yes, I do wear my emotions on my sleeve, but the Cancer in me makes me a little bit more cautious about telling people about my emotional problems. Like my friends would know that I'm upset, but when they ask me why, I almost never tell them the complete story. It's that secretive side of Cancer.Idk about Gemini moons. Your emotions are probably pretty obvious but like I feel that you'd rather talk about them rather than actually feel them. And when you're done talking to somebody about them, you just feel like nothing ever happened. IP: Logged |

I have gemini moon in the first house...i don't like to talk about my feelings so much. Writing is more cathartic for me and I can get my feelings out more than speaking. When it comes to talking about my feelings I clam up and stammer never getting to really convey what I feel. Sometimes I think I should just walk around with a notepad IP: Logged |

I have Leo Moon in the 1st house, and I often get mistaken for an Aries Moon. Also, my Moon makes a sextile with my Mars, so maybe that's why 🤔IP: Logged |

Honestly, Moon in the 1H (in the house of Aries) blends the energy of the Moon into the energy of Mars. So, yes, there are some similarities between that placement and the Moon in Aries such as being very emotional reactive. The 1H is the "gate" of your being, what's there for everyone to see. If the Moon is there the first thing people will notice about you is that you're emotional. The closer the Moon is to the AC, the stronger the effect. So Ami is right too. I have Moon in Cancer in the 1H and no matter how much I try to hide (the crab in action, lol), people still see the emotions right on my face. However, the way you're going to express those emotions is defined by the sign on the cusp of the 1H. I have Cancer, so I try to hide them at first to protect myself. An Aquarius would try to rationalize them and an Aries Moon in the 1H would erupt like a volcano and throw them right on your face, lol!IP: Logged |
