Hi all,my birth certificate indicates I was born at 11:00 am. My mother wanted to get my chart done so I am assuming she got the time right. However, people told me that no one is born on the exact hour (or at least few people do). I am not sure if I should rectify my birth chart. Has anyone done this? IP: Logged |

Do these four chime for you? A young couple walk down main- street, window-shopping. Inner interest in outer life that leads to whole-souled participation and achievement. Self-projection. Estimation. An official embassy ball. Social recognition of accomplishment as the substance of a ritual, of human association. Certification of rank. Ambition. A man formally dressed stands near trophies he brought back from a hunting expedition. Self-development through the culture of masculine activities. Subservience of individual to social pattern of behavior. Taste. A hindu healer. Supremacy of the unsuspected faculties hidden deep within. Conscious utilization of divine potency. Revelation of self. If not, check the Degrees nearest, til you find four that ring true. IP: Logged |

Its your chart. You don't need our permission to adjust it. However, this could turn out well, with accuracy, or might prove to be very difficult. Even professionals find rectification challenging. Your advantage is that know one knows you better than you. ------------------ Expert rectification, professional astrology consults http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ IP: Logged |

well, I do relate with my birth chart. I think the worst it can be off is 5-10min. I know I relate very well with Moon in 12th description and I am at very early degrees so I doubt that I was born later than 11am. the problem is if I was born earlier, my mars would conjunct MC and the description I read confuses me because I have capricorn mars and these two sound similar any way... I was going to ask you if you were lucky around the Summer Solstice, cause it sets your Part of Fortune Right There.IP: Logged |

Nothing was particularly lucky. I moved on with my usual life I suppose. I don't know if I have pluto opposite ascendant or not. I feel like my interpretation of the Sabian symbols can be subjective and I don't know how specifically they should apply to my life. My current ASC at 11am is Taurus 11 IP: Logged |

Yeah, that's another thing when you use this Sabian link, you have to think up to Twelve Degree. So, it covers anything from Eleven Oh, to Twelve. The Part of Fortune Sun Conjunction would happen every year at that time.

I'm sure most people's birth times are off by 5-10 minutes either way. I don't think in all cases they looked immediately at the clock and wrote down the exact number. If you have nothing that can change either way by moving 10 minutes and if you feel it over all fits you, I wouldn't worry about it. Be happy you are close! The guy I'm seeing has no idea his birth time and his mom says between breakfast and lunch... Sigh. LOL. I used to think he had to be Aires asc, now I think he's a Taurus asc. It's frustrating. And as was said, rectifying to the minute will probably be very difficult, if not impossible. What is the orb on Pluto to Asc?

You would think! But I'm still new at this and he doesn't really physically look like either, to me. Plus I think when I first met him I saw his Leo moon rather than his asc. Now that I know him more and see how he comes across at first with other people, I see more the Taurus potential. I also thought Gemini because he looks different in every photo I have of him. The time his mom gives doesn't work there and considering his placements in late Aries/early Taurus, I think either of those could work. Honestly, I think it's 29Aries! (Probably a topic for other thread... sorry!) IP: Logged |

lol. more likely? probably eat! he eats a lot. but his leo moon certainly likes to roar, which is where i was originally confused. also a taurus asc would explain how we got together with my scorp asc. IP: Logged |

according to my current chart, i don't have pluto opposite ASC. It's at 22 degree. My Asc is 11. But if I was born a little bit later, then I would have the wide opposite. But I figure Pluto would be something easier to notice? I have pluto in 7th either way IP: Logged |

Yes. I imagine you would feel it more. I have Venus on the asc and opp Saturn but at 8 degs. When people describe Venus opp Saturn, it really doesn't resonate with me. So I guess an 8 orb is not strong enough and/or that my birth time is slightly off putting the Venus opp Saturn even a bit further off orb. I'm generally OK with my birth chart. My mom told me I was born at 05minutes which put my Venus in the 1st. And I didn't really feel that. My BC says 50 minutes putting Venus in 12th, and although I'm not all about the intense stereotype of Venus in 12th (conj asc), it makes much more sense as I'm quite private about my love/intimate life. Do you feel the Pluto opp asc/conj desc description resonates with you? It sounds like quite a strong aspect. ONe that would be difficult to miss. Although, if we get into progressions, which I still find too difficult to understand, is it an applying or separating aspect? I think if it is separating you'll feel it less as you get older anyway. (maybe someone who knows more might comment on that) IP: Logged |
