Looked up Scorpio rising on youtube just to see what was up and noticed Scorpio ascendant seems to be the most viewed ascendant videos on YouTube.
Do you think Scorpio ascendants would be more interested in this subject than others. I know I'm just throwing it out there no 100% facts here but just curious.

Obviously.

Scorpio/Pluto folks are usually interested in getting to know themselves (and others) better, so anything that can do that will catch their attention - psychology, astrology, personality systems, etc.

Besides, Scorpio is universally popular due to its stereotyped characteristics (passionate, "magnetic," sexy/sexual, yada yada) so when someone finds out they have a Scorpio AC (or any other placement) they usually become quite obsessed with it.

I think scorpio suns brag more about being that sign than ascendant people. I have it but i don't think it's anymore special than other ascendants (we do like to dig deeper into things and investigate though).. i actually wish i could have been born with sag rising lol

It's funny this topic pops up, the other day I was talking to an old friend that just suddenly decided to say hi. Well I just up and asked him his birth time and guess what??? Scorpio Ascendant!!!! Makes so much sense!! I remember when he'd be playing his guitar at school (post high school-trade school lol) he'd give me the most intense stare while he'd be playing it. I loved it!!!

I noticed in the Scorp ascendants I've known and dated, they have that intense eye thing going, but also need glasses lol. I know they say Scorp Asc is either love or hate no in between and it's true I looooooove this ascendant. I'm attracted to the dark energy it gives out..just something about it drives me wild lol

Just discovered Prince has a Scorp ascendant...explains so much lol

You'd think Aries would be more interested in searching themselves up. Lol and I'm Scorpio ascendant when I found out I was disappointed kinda.. I was looking for something positive about it so I could come to terms with it lol..wished I was a Sagittarius or Virgo or something else.

Perhaps the people who are just getting in to astrology haven't gone in depth about it and don't know they have a fascination about them because they themselves may posses some scorpio placements?

It didn't take me until earlier this yr to realize that the reason why almost all of my serious relationships have been with scorps is because of it being my 4th house ruler, pluto being in my 3rd AND Venus in the 8th. I honestly don't even think it has anything to do with my sun being their opposite either. I'm also very much aware that the sign isn't all it's cracked up to be trust me lol. My point is I was obsessed with it because I had this energy myself and didn't realize it.

My natal ASc is Libra.
Progressed ASc is Scorpio.

There has definitely been a marked increase in digging and diving as I have grown.

Pluto is also conj. ASc though, so the propensity has always existed.

But I positively bury myself half to death now with a subterranean JCB, as opposed to digging water holes with a spade.

My sister in law has a scorpio stellium in the 1st house with sun, mercury, venus, uranus and asc. She is stunning, intense and magnetic. She self-admittedly spends LOTS of time in front of the mirror and loves compliments. I think anything she could learn about herself to become a better person she would however she has no idea about astology, except general star sign analogy. I think she would be blown away learning about her asc and stellium in the 1st house.

I think Scorpio is more about sexuality rather than sexual prowess if you get me. The few people I've known with Scorpio placements have strong opinions on the subject. E.g. my best friend who is Scorpio rising, who is also gay is very conservative about it and doesn't like how gay people are stereotyped etc etc. My mother who has a Scorpio moon is really prudish, and also has strong opinions on how different sexualities are portrayed and stuff. I'm just saying they seem to think about it deeper. They also aren't afraid to argue.

From a young age I had people who were interested in astrology in my life. My best friend's father was quite a serious thought not professional astrologer, and I've "dabbled" in it various times in my life. This is the first time around that I've heard so much hype about Scorpio.
