It was mentioned in a previous thread. How is the color horoscope calculated?it gave my three dominants as 1) Sun and Neptune EQUAL at 14.3!!
2) Moon 3rd place at 13.6 Here,I am sun & neptune equal then moon.
in pullen i am sun,merc,neptune. So im definitely sun/neptune which makes lots of sense! But how is mercury dominant in one and moon dominant in the other? Anyone know the technical truth behind Johannes Schneider and Pullen's calculations? IP: Logged |

Well I already gave my ideas/thoughts as to how they are calculated on DeepFreeze's thread about it.My 3 dominant planets in the Colorscope are: 1st - Chiron - 16.2%
2nd - Venus - 15.6%
3rd - Moon - 11.4% My 3 dominant planets in the Pullen Delineation are: 1st - Venus - 18.4%
2nd - Sun - 12.2%
3rd - Mercury - 11.9% (so Mercury and the Sun are pretty much tied for 2nd) - (and this is also not including any additional objects in the calculation). IP: Logged |

I see, makes alot of sense. Color Horoscope is more which planet YOU correspond to, which planet is ingrained in your personality while Pullen is more about the planet's overall strenght in your horoscope( i.e. dignities, etc.) IP: Logged |

Yeah, pretty much, but the Colorscope is more like your outward expression of your personality, rather than internally and the skills you get from the planets (dignities/strength), which is your Pullen. At least this is what I think. And thanks. IP: Logged |

MoonWhich I don't understand chiron being above LEO sun... Come on.
Mars.. It rules my Dsc. My sun is in Aries decan and Mars has several aspects including conjunct asc from 12th. But pullen...

Some things I've noticed (not sure how accurate my observations are, but still):Looks like they use Vesta for 2nd house placements and Chiron for 6th house placements (not sure about Taurus & Virgo signs though). The asc/asc ruler seem to have importance sometimes but not always... However 1st house placements are often emphasized, as well as planets aspecting the luminaries (Sun & Moon), especially if they aspect them both. Repeated themes, e.g. Taurus Sun/Mercury + 2nd house planets = Vesta in the first ranks. But obviously it's more complex than that. IP: Logged |

^Yeah, I agree.And on the Colorscope, they actually mention that Chiron is treated as the ruler of Virgo and the 6th House, and Vesta as the ruler of Taurus and the 2nd House. Which makes sense because one of my luminaries (the Sun) is in Virgo (Chiron) conjunct Chiron, and my Ascendant's dispositor (the Sun) is in Chiron's sign (Virgo). So that's one of the reasons why Chiron is high for me on the Colorscope. IP: Logged |

Yeah sort of.
Especially with how it's calculated.
But I don't agree with color.
For example, chiron isn't actually a planet and I don't buy into this changing rulership all around.
Mercury rules Virgo and Gemini in my book - not chiron over Virgo. So I stand by pullen.
And I feel it, especially mercury.
And I get Mars too but it aspects a lot. My moon, my asc conjunct, Jupiter which expands it. Rules my Dsc. IP: Logged |

Yes exactly. I think Pullen is deeper and more potent. I'm still Venusian all around so I guess it doesn't really matter to much for me anyway. IP: Logged |

I think they are both correct in there own way, I personally think the colorscope is more about energy reflected from the whole chart or the themes of the chart -- so more holistic. On the bottom of colorscope there is a list of your strongest aspects by orb. So I guess it could be orb related.Where as Pullen is looking for more concentrated energy via houses... IP: Logged |

Venus : 9.1
Neptune=8
Mars: 7.6
Jupiter: 6.4

Saturn: 18.8
Uranus: 12.2
