Fake friends are almost everywhere,you can't recognize them easily,they are like snakes first they roll your soul and then they struggle it!!!Well what is your opinion about fake friends,what's your zodiac sign and if you ever had one then what was his/her zodiac sign(if you dont have then you are really lucky :P )IP: Logged |

Capricorn. I don't have fake friends, mostly because I don't misplace my expectations. I have best friends, normal not-so-close friends, social acquaintances..etc.. Some of them did hurt me once or twice, but in all cases they were in tough situations, so yeah can't blame them. Fake friends are the ones who approach you with malicious intention, tell you that they're your friends and lure you into a false sense of security. Then they stab you in the back, either for their own gain, for revenge or amusement. IP: Logged |

No fake friends either but plenty of miscommunication. I have many acquaintances and few friends as I am very picky with whom I let near me. I also don't have any expectations whatsoever. I am a Cancer Sun/Capricorn Moon IP: Logged |

I can't help but feel that one can tell fake friends from real one because one has an internal guidance system that lets them know where they stand with each person.I have 11th house cusp(house of associations and platonic relations) in Pisces- The ruler of the 11th house is Neptune and it sits on the 8th house cusp of Sagittarius. I don't think that those I know are "fake". I only have very few people that I would call "friends". Sometimes I don't even know what that word means exactly. I'm Leo (11) with Gemini moon (9). I have few friends but they are all 100% real.
If I get just a whiff that they are not 100% real, they're gone.
I have no fear whatsoever of being alone outside of family and Barbie. The fake ones I have known (including my ex who was very very fake to others) were all cancer sun.

I have had "fake friends" both Capricorns actually.... Yes! it's weird but they used me for money or tried to drag my name though the mud to cover up their wrong doings which was super insulting after I lent one my phone and she borrowed 100$.... I've met some in my years who just HAVE to be liked and thus they sling the friendship badge for ppl who've barely even earned that spot. I am an Aquarius, but that aqua sun is far removed from my Saturnine energy as a whole. I too, don't get the bottom line screwed up. You are compartmentalized in the very realistic basket you belong in. I'm extremely picky with the friendship stuff. Much like DeepFreeze, you cross me, you're done. I don't know if I've ever had "fake" friends, but I have certainly had friends who was kind of egoistically but always seemed very "sweet" and then I find out they talked behind my back. I'm a virgo sun with scorpio venus, I don't make "fake" friends, I am too suspicious for that:P But the signs of people that I believe was not "real" friends after all was mainly Aquarius and capricorn. Sure! And I like cancer suns BTW, even though I've had a few issues here and there.
Also, there's a guy at work with cancer sun and Aries moon. Sounds like an odd combination. He's a cool guy though... Smart as crap. He probably forgot more than the rest of us will ever know. I'd be interested to "hear" how the native feels. But I don't want to hijack the thread.

Fake friends don't exist. You either have friends or you have acquaintances, coworkers, strangers etc.
If you let a person close enough to you so they are worthy of you calling them a friend, they are real. They are friends. Don't sweat the others. Let them undo themselves. Ignore if they are persistent. Or just tell them off. 
Life is too short to worry about other people's insecurities.
In short, no, I have not had "fake" friends. Nobody fake has ever graduated to the friends category. Sag Sun.
ETA: I know plenty of sweetly dishonest people, however. They usually fall in the spring/early summer signs.  IP: Logged |

@Yin - not stirring a pot dear, just gonna elaborate on the connotation of "fake friends" even while you beg to differ. Perfectly fine.

To even implement the saying it'd be used in past tense which is what 3333 is saying. You wouldn't knowingly introduce anyone saying "hey you guys, here's my fake friend Amber". You'd deduce the inauthentic relationship once the truth of who they WERE to you is loud and clear.

Leo Sun. Usually my fake friends are either Gemini (no surprise there), other air signs, or earth signs(except Cap, they're not fake with me). I've had a Gemini "friend" literally be completely 2 faced with me, being a total bro when we're alone one moment then putting me on the spot and making fun of me in the group the next. Same with a Virgo "friend" who did the same thing. Its been mainly air signs or Virgos, go figure. :PIP: Logged |

How is the Sun sign in ANY WAY related to how you socialize and the friends you attract? Lord.. 7th ruler, 11th house ruler, and Venus would be a fine start.IP: Logged |

Yeah, I'm HUGE on keeping Gemini's FAR away from me. The mutable and duality thing doesn't sit well with all my fixed energy. I adore Virgos, and fortunately have yet to be thrown a smokescreen from any of them. [Virgo 11H - Mercury 3H] quote:

I've been in that same bad situation! It's demeaning and seriously s*cks but for me it seems to happen mostly with Scorpio women in front of single men lol as odd as that sounds. A Gemini friend of mine has done the same thing but wouldnt intend to put me down. She would more or less do it to entertain the group. Scorpio seems to do it as a weird "I am above you" kind of statement. Almost as if there is some kind of competition going on.
