I'm not sure but people say that this is a bad aspect, i'm very new to this, can someone tell me why?I heard it makes you have a big ego. I guess it's true because I have Sun Conjuct Mercury and I love talking a lot about myself... maybe a little too much. But I heard it's bad if it's at 5 degrees or lower, mines at 8 degrees. Does that give you higher intelligence?

What it does it merges your mind and your conscious self into one thing essentially. Thus your ego becomes attached to your opinions and you feel as if your opinions and thoughts ARE you, when in reality they are not. I have this placement probably in the worst (or best, depending on who you ask) place to have it, in Leo. It definitely makes the native value their own opinion more than that of others for the most part, which is healthy with moderation, but can become toxic when relied on too much. Stubbornness is a big problem with this placement and must be overcome. IP: Logged |

But its suppose to make you more intelligent I heard?

The guy I'm dating now has this. He is really very intelligent but he hates to be wrong. He's aware of this and is something his is or has been working on. We joke about it when it happens. So it's not a hidden "defect". IP: Logged |
