Topic: Pluto/Venus hard aspect in natal, which is the worst?

I have Pluto/Venus but it's not tight, 8 degrees apart, Pluto does sit on my AC with Venus conjunct...but again it's not tight.I just started dating someone with an exact Pluto/Venus square....I can't tell who's more intense? Now that I've met someone with this square, plus his Eros and Psyche sit on his Venus square his Pluto... I've read a lot about the square, seems to create a lot of fear, n as soon as the person expresses deep emotion the Pluto/Venus square person freaks out due to the intensity. I'm not sure if this is true, but I don't see it in the guy I'm seeing. He's more than willing to go deep n stay deep...he's beyond excited if I share his intensity.
Why do some Pluto-Venus squares run for the hills as soon as someone expresses their kind of depth or do they?
Do you think the conjunction is more or less intense? Personally I feel I'm just as intense but less scattered with my feelings. I have more control but no less intensity. Since my conjunct Pluto/Venus is distant, n yet I feel I'm just as intense(possibly, well see though) it has me wondering if the conjunction is the stronger aspect? What do you think? His Pluto is on my Venus(0 degree) and my Anti-Vertex(2 degree)

I personally believe, from experience: if you have it natally, you'll be more at ease around the energy in synastry.
I've got Pluto/Venus opposition, my boo has the conjunction. In synastry, we have both of the aforementioned. I can't say which is worse/more intense, but we handle it well because they energy is also our own. I'd feel no passion without it. IP: Logged |

Pleasure/love/partnerships/friendships/social life would either be all or nothing for you.Your relationships may be obsessive, either you or your partner. I've got pluto/venus quincunx.. My love has the square..and since our plutos are conjunct we have the same synastrically, as well. Idk if one of us is more intense than the other, but I do know ive never felt so at ease with my feelings with someone. Partially because I know he understands and also because I know he LIKES it because he is the same way...possibly more so. It.s probably why from the get go neither one of us felt odd expressing our extremely strong feelings for each other.. Other guys ive dated would be put off to hear that I loved them after just a short time..usually within a couple weeks I would be ready for "the L word," but I started holding it back bc I realized they just didnt feel the same so quickly and encompassingly... And then I met my fiance.. and unlike every other relationship id been in, he actually said it first. Was just as insistent about being around me or at least talking to me as I felt toward him. When I realized this it was truly the most wonderful feeling I've ever had.. "Finally z someone who understands! Someone who won't be put off by my intense passions, but instead embraces and returns them!" I dont think any pluto/venus aspects are bad per se, but I do believe that nobody can understand a pluto/venus native better than another of the same.. IP: Logged |

Wholeheartedly agree. No fear, because in the intensity there is, above all, reciprocity. And that is security and comfort for expression. My guy told me he was going to marry me in the first 48 hours and we were going to have babies. The next day, he made me tell him I loved him (which I knew I already had fallen for him), but he wanted to hear it first before he said it. I let him have his cake, needless to say.  IP: Logged |

i think moon/pluto can understand a venus/pluto i have moon/square pluto and mars/trine pluto and when it comes to feelings either i feel nothing at all or completely fall 100% and im very loyal haha im also VERY attracted to venus/pluto women thats not suprising im a sun scorpio, do you pluto/venus women have an attraction toward scorpios? Its hit and miss for me.. I do like Scorp moons for sure, though!And worth mention.. Although my fiance is an Aquarius Sun/Merc/Venus/Jupiter, they are all in his 8H and hes a Scorp Mars  IP: Logged |

Gabby and I were discussing this in another thread but how is everyone else's experience with people with soft aspects between Venus and Pluto (if you have a hard aspect yourself)?I feel it can vary so much. I have Venus square Pluto natally, and my current partner has Venus trine Pluto natally. While I can sense that his feelings are deep, he doesn't express them as openly or as intensely as I do. In fact he tends to shy away from moments where I try to get him to open up emotionally. This could be a whole other host of factors though...he's a Cancer Sun/Taurus Moon/Gemini Venus/Libra Mars, so not a very openly emotional person to begin with. PLUS he has a very tight Sun square Pluto aspect so he is very guarded to boot. In comparison my ex had Venus sextile Pluto natally but my experience with him was very different. He was a Libra Sun/Capricorn Moon/Virgo Venus/Aries Mars so again not a very emotional person, and he wasn't particularly expressive, but he was more open and receptive with me emotionally. His emotions were never particularly intense per se, but at least he was willing to listen to me and give me as much reciprocation as necessary to satisfy me. I should also add that I agree that Venus/Pluto people tend to attract other Venus/Pluto people or if not Venus, Moon/Pluto people. Every relationship I have been in my partner has had one of those aspects with the exception of 1, and it was the most emotionally unsatisfying relationship I've had. We dated for almost a year and he never told me he loved me (I'm nuts I know). IP: Logged |

Depends.
I have the square, and I require a lot of stimulation to stay in a relationship.
I require to be changed on a deep level, almost continuously.
(my current partner's uranus on my stellium is providing material for this very nicely for 3 years) TBH, there are only two types of intensity I will run from: Manipulation/entrapment, and violence. Everything else is service with a smile.
