How does your room look? And which of your placements would you associate with it?

My room is VERY personalized, I must say. My walls are covered in posters and monster cans and boxes that I like. I associate this with my Sun in Leo oppose my Uranus in Aquarius. The way my decorations on my wall are put up are very scattered and somewhat creative. This would be my Pisces MC working its magic. I also tend to keep my room clean and have a lot of space for me to breathe. Things are always put in their proper places and my clothes are very well organized. This is due to my Venus in Virgo and space being associated with my Uranus and Sagittarius descendant.

I associate my room with the 2nd house. The house of possessions.

I don't place sentimental value in my room and I only have what is necessary.

My 2nd house cusp is in Gemini. I also like to change the position of my bed a lot. Sometimes I'll suddenly decide to sleep in another room.

I am really not richly attached to my room or my belongings that much at all.

I always have one room that's mine. (The rest is built for everyone else.) I have wall hangings & tapestries that help balance my Libran scales but also reflect the Scorpio cusp and no doubt my Sag Uranus. Yin Yangs, daisies, butterflies (perhaps the best symbol for a Libra on the Scorpio cusp), balancing colors, smooth designs, almost neo-hippie in flavor (but not quite and no tie-dye). And I do have a lava lamp.

I also have some blacklite posters featuring Alice in Wonderland scenes, with another of a fairy castle and another of planets in space, and sometimes I like to turn on the blacklite when it's dark laying on my futon while playing some music (anything from Chopin to VNV Nation).

My futon has a strawberry shortcake blanket on top with Cthulhu plush toys and slippers about it. I don't know why I like that but I do. Maybe it's a surrealistic yin yang, one of childlike faith and the other of the terror and insanity that devours it (in a cute, funny way, maybe that's another of my Libra on the Scorpio cusp manifestations with my Sag stellium enjoying the contradiction of it). I almost never sleep in my futon, however, the most I most do is take a nap on it while some music plays.

When I was younger I used to have a homemade poster that was sort of a shrine to what I believed. It included bumper stickers (preference for clever or artistic and trying to be positive) with a pic of fictional entities (too long to explain) but I finally decided it didn't fit anymore and got rid of it.

I agree that the 2nd house, maybe some 6H influences as well, can represent one's room and personal space, belongings. I think the Moon sign also has a lot to do with it, and where the Moon is placed.

I have Cap on my 2nd house cusp, Taurus on my 6H cusp. Uranus and Neptune in the 2nd, trine Moon, opp. Mars. I really like having eclectic, personalized items in my room. Abstract art, tapestries and incense burners are a must. I have an astrological tapestry that I just put up, and it's one of my favorites! I have Klimt, Picasso and Munch prints on my walls. I like to feel very comfortable in my space, so I usually have a fan and white noise machine to block out any noise from outside.

Mars in the 8th touching my 2H planets, and Venus in Scorpio has led me to purchase a somewhat monochromatic set of furniture: gray couch, black accent pieces, sleek glass tables, etc, all things modern and dark colored. I can be either extremely neat or...not so neat, and then frantic to clean up the mess (Virgo Moon). True to my 9H Moon, I like to put up a lot of postcards from different places and friends across the world.

Interesting thread and comments! This is a treat, to get a tour of people's rooms.

My sense of interior design is:

-Need lots of light from windows
-With a view of trees outside
-Warm hardwood floors
-Showcasing natural materials in diverse ways (plants, seashells, rocks, beeswax candles on bronze candlestick holders)
-Incandescent lights -> very important
-White/tan major color scheme, with colorful accents
-Minimal but comfortable furniture, nothing too precious or fussy.

All of that seems 6H Cap to me.

Plus:

-Rainbows, primary colors in vivid hues. Just about every room of mine ends up having something big and red, like a cabinet or rug or chair. (Leo ASC!) Right now I'm in my white and gray checkerboard chair sitting next to a candy-apple red chest-of-drawers looking at my cutting boards that are multicolored. My serving spoons, spatulas, and kitchen bowls, are in assorted colors, too. Basically I am sensitive to color and play it to the nines...against that calm backdrop of white/neutral. Kinda like white light splintering into a rainbow.

I have this set of blocks that I adore...

And I move it around the house. It has borderline religious significance ...not much different from those Zen sand gardens people put on their desks.

---

2H cusp Virgo, ruler is 6H Aqua Mercury.

Mercury sextile Sag Venus, which is conjunct Neptune. And my Pisces moon is showing here: rainbows remind me of the sky...one step closer to Out There.

!

I have a star and moon throw blanket that I bought with my first paycheck ever! I was like 17.

Kinda looks like this, only it's the moon, all silvery and white, instead of the sun.

Now that I think about it, Cancer rules my 2nd house and my Sun is in that house. My Moon is in the first house. I also like to put birthday cards in my wall, old letters from my friends and some really nostalgic junk aside from posters and monster cans. I feel like it expresses who I am on the inside.

My room is very plain-looking, but VERY neat, orderly and extremely clean. It's so neat, I can honestly tell when something is out of place.

I have a Scorpio stellium (Sun, Mercury(r), Venus, Jupiter, Pluto) in my 6th house.

I also have:

Sun square saturn, jupiter trine saturn, saturn square pluto, saturn trine vertex, mars square saturn, Saturn square ascendant, Moon trine Saturn, and Venus trine Saturn.

and also..:

Sun conjunct descendant (Scorpio)
Sun conjunct Pluto.
Mars conjunct descendant.
Mars conjunct Pluto.
Pluto conjunct descendant.
Mercury conjunct Venus.
Mercury conjunct jupiter.
Venus conjunct jupiter.

I am a very orderly and habit-oriented individual.

Everything is about order, neatness, and cleanliness.

All of that Scorpio energy combined with Saturn and being in the 6th house of habits, you can definitely imagine how my room is.

I am very well put together and orderly.
