Saw this thread last night and decided to watch the movie. It was good!  Though it's hard for me to pick any synastry aspects for it...my mind has moved over to the composite chart when I think of soul mates, now  The waiting period for finding The One and the equation of... longevity together = the ultimate determinant of soul mate ...makes me think of VENUS/SATURN, maybe in a grand trine with NEPTUNE.

 Charlotte Riley and Tom Hardy as Catherine and Heathcliff. The actors' suns are trine in earth signs, the way I always imagined those characters to be.  What about moon conjunct moon for them, with ASC conjunctions, too? VENUS/MARS/PLUTO is kinda obvious in that one... IP: Logged |

I found arctic monkey album humbug and it seem scorpio to me. Very Pluto like. I do think its sexy and wishing I had scorpio romance!IP: Logged |

Spoiler's alert though Wiki's description isn't too detailed. The couple definitely has Saturn/Venus and Uranus/Venus hard aspects. It seemed as if life was pulling a prank on this couple. Their romance began in high school and the bond went on and off throughout the rest of their life. Somehow circumstances kept them apart and yet as if in a twist of fate continued to let them coincidentally meet time and again. Their loving connection continued until they grew old when they eventually accepted that their relationship could only extend as far as friendship.

I wouldn't have watched it except you said that Mikey is cute...so I was like "Hmm! Cute guy? Hi ho, off I go to see this..."  And he is cute, the actor is obviously intelligent and sensitive, plays it convincingly. The technology is Uranian, but I guess I don't see Uranus in the love part between the people. Can you elaborate on how it reminds you of your Venus/Uranus aspect? Wild guess...is it just something about love at first sight? Like you are thunderstruck by a person? IP: Logged |

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: Venus opp. Uranus. It absolutely encompasses the relationship between Joel and Clementine. I love this movie...it's beautiful. The romanticism and yearnings for the past remind me of Moon-Neptune and Venus-Neptune in synastry as well. I can only imagine what can of synastry chart these two would have.  Interview with the Vampire: Sun conj. Pluto, of course [Lestat's Pluto and on Louis' Sun]. I really enjoyed the book and the movie adaptation. Probably one of the only roles I really enjoyed with Tom Cruise, haha. The doomed love Claudia feels for Louis also makes me think of Venus in the 12th [her Venus in his 12th], Venus-Saturn [age gap in physical body] and Venus-Neptune. By the way, I'll have to check out the movie Timer as soon as I can. It seems cool. IP: Logged |

I watched A Very Long Engagement the other day. The on-screen couple reminds me of saturn aspects and uranus aspects too (their circumstances change quite dramatically). And sun (or venus) conj or trine neptune. Because they have a happy ending - well that depends on the viewers' interpretations I guess. But yah I have venus/neptune and to me the ending is slightly bittersweet, but a happy one. IP: Logged |
