On another thread a long time ago we were all discussing our ideal matches, and someone told me a Venus in Pisces might actually suit me. I was just now thinking about it and I thought how that placement is probably receptive, whereas my Venus in Aries is more action-oriented, and maybe more prone to giving in a way. Then I thought "But there's probably also different types of Venus in Pisces," which made me wonder if there's a way to tell which (for example) Venus in Pisces will work best with what you have. I mean, is there a way to look for that besides having a synastry chart or an actual person / placement? I feel like I'm asking an obvious question but still...if there's an answer...IP: Logged |

"Type" of Venus in Pisces will work for you?Are we talking about strictly Venus placements here and excluding the aspect and house positions? Coz in my experience, a Sag at 20 Degrees is still a Sag even at 3 Degrees. I don't buy into the whole "decanates" thing though hey IP: Logged |

No, no, definitely including aspects and house positions! That's what I mean that not just any old Venus in Pisces would work and wanted to understand how we figure out what house or degree it needs to be in, as well as where our own Venus (or whathaveyou) needs to be in to work for them.IP: Logged |
