What makes someone hesitant when it comes to love and expressing it? I have Saturn and Venus conjunct in 4th and its really hard for me to trust fully and that's why I find it hard to actually share myself. Also I'm scared of messing up and I don't have time for people who take advantage of me. IP: Logged |

Preach!!!  Venus conjunct Saturn too -guilty as charged. I have Moon in Cancer which I am convinced is by far the trickiest position for a man in finding a suitable mate. This position is heavy-going for partnership. And because it squares my natal Mars, I get defensive when someone tries to get close. I fear getting hurt so much that I shut people out. I am actually close to tears saying this because I don't know how many people that I have reacted very badly to when they tried to love me. My current BF also has Venus conjunct Saturn with Moon Scorpio and he has nerves of steel.
He doesn't let up and is not easily discouraged by my changeable nature at ALL. I always assumed I'd be single because I am so "unlovable". But some people show up in one's life to prove that wrong. IP: Logged |

Someone with an afflicted 5th house ruler, an afflicted or malefic moon, no water in the chart, empty 5th house and afflicted venus also… I have a very afflicted moon in pisces and it is hard for me sometimes to express love… my 5th house is in libra, and my venus is in scorpio also in 5th house…. I also have pluto there, but also lilith. And my venus is well aspected, so I feel that I do have a lot of love to give, and that I love very deep and affectionate, but it can be hard for me to trust people and show them how much they mean to me… IP: Logged |

Sigh, this topic again... However, I do have Libra ruling my 5th house and my Venus is pretty f.cked by Saturn and Neptune. They're both in my 7th house, squaring my 11H Aries Venus. So basically my life lesson is to learn not to be afraid while in relationships, not fear relationships, and to see them for what they are. For the most part I think I've overcome a lot but I'm still working on enjoying the moment while it lasts. I have a habit of getting impatient waiting for the expiration date; I expect failure, however that's probably what drew me to them in the first place subconsciously (Mars in the 12th plus Venus square Neptune.) In the asteroid world it would be...Saturn square Valentine exact.

I think you might be my twin lol. I have Venus conj Saturn. And cancer moon square mars. I shut people out too. The worst part is I can see myself doing it, I can see it happening but I feel so powerless to stop myself. I am too scared of getting hurt, even though shutting people out ends up hurting me anyways, and not matter what I do I still get hurt lol. IP: Logged |

Oh, self sabotage! I know nothing about THAT. Venus is at the apex of one of my yods. Venus takes a beating from Saturn & Mars. I wrestle with trust issues. ------------------

I just uttered the words "I love you" for the 1st time in 6 years :-/ I am bloody petrified and SO not in my element. I actually think I want to throw up and I am not even exaggerating. I checkout all of these except empty 5th. I have pluto opp Asc in the mix as well. So a commitment phone who wants intense passionate partnership
